A few points to mention Dan, firstly First Figaro was entered in the bumper on Monday night, did Weld give the shark a free run as well?. Secondly the bit about him bringing the wrong horse is hard to swallow, typical pub talk.
The biggest mistake he made was putting up Patrick Mullins, it's very lazy thinking. The 7lb that jockeys like Maguire claim make a big difference and anybody who puts up people like Mullins Nina Carberry Katie Walsh and a few others are bonkers.
Some trainers are incapable of using their imagination, and obviously the big red head is one of those.

What was the excuse for Another Cyclone not running on Monday.
Patrick Mullins riding Another Cyclone was partly the reason for the withdrawal of Prince DAubrelle. We will see if Mr Mee keeps his horses with the friendly match. |

The official excuse was change in ground, I have no idea why it didn't run. The rumour it wasn't brought was doing the rounds, and maybe that's true, but I'd be sceptical.

Didn't run on Monday because the owner pulled it out. The trainer was doing too much talking about the horse and the price went!

Mullins didn't want to take on sharks horse on Monday because they didn't think they would beat it.

I say the Shark just forgot to bring it Monday.
I was a shade disappointed with First Figaro yesterday. If I could bring one home for the future I would nearly pick Cyclone(obviously picking a different trainer aswell!!) |

Without being able to read the initial post I am only guessing as to its content using the title of the thread.
If the title is correct how do you reconcile it with your Mullins/Meade in bumpers theory? |

Things move on,plenty here sneered at the notion of horses swerving each other especially Willie Mullins.
Prince DAubrelle was scratched from Monday nights bumper to avoid Another Cyclone,this also freed Patrick Mullins to ride Another Cyclone. Willie Mullins was annoyed when The Shark brought the wrong horse to the races but later admitted that it worked out well for him as Prince DAubrelle won Thursdays bumper. |
