Round them up, put them on a ship and send them back to Africa.

I agree Clerkmore, wouldn't it be a nice touch for the Irish navy to be involved in this and maybe offer the services of Le Eithne or Niamh?
|
|
By:
Have to disagree
Would be a lot quicker to fly them back! |

My worry is some might head for Cherbourg.
If that were to happen there would be a welcoming committee at Rosslare comprising of lawyers, doctors some politicians and state board members all on expenses. RTE would send Aine Lawlor or Rachel English to do the cooing. |

Planes might be a better option alright Elvisss.
150 is the number they are quoting that are getting through each night, considerable though not huge but they shouldn't be any,the message is it can be done and only is an invite to try. Great country(Ireland) for that kinda thing Wildman, the bleeding hearts are saying shure God love us but they are the same people that own their own house, have private healthcare and their children are in fee paying schools. |

Is it now a daily patrol outside Dundalk to try and target this?
Was travelling back to Dublin after the Ulster final on the Monday. I dropped a friend back to Armagh, came back via Newry andthere was a 30 minute delay as traffic was detoured off the M1 to check for migrants. It was the same earlier this week. It seems like a complete waste of money. Given the amount of routes across the border, you would want to be pretty stupid to take this main access point now, so it is not far removed from being a complete waste of the Garda budget. A much more coordinated policy needs to be put in place rather than this window dressing exercise, which is what it appears to be. |

whats your plans if other countries took the same attitude and sent back all of our irish born and bred illegals?
|
|
By:
If they are illegal then of course they should be sent back.
Its obvious you are referring to America, the reason they are illegal there is that hero of Chappaquidick and his 1965 immigration act. He like some here wanted more diversity so the act encouraged third world immigration whilst restricting immigration from its old source Europe. |

I wonder how many max headroom would let in.
Would he mind if there were ISISs members among them. Where would he think they should be housed. How does he propose to fund this. |

By:
Was talking to a friend in the industry recently who told me that they had a load of people phoning in wanting to bet on "Niamh" as the most popular babys name in Ireland in 2016.

muhammed mite be a better bet!!

irish moaning about illegals, you seriously couldn't make it up

Same questions for Send in the clowns.
How many would he let in. How would he fund it. Would he mind some Jihadists coming in. Its all very well this warm glow they feel by being righteous but none can answer these questions. They just emote, they absorb this television group think and just patter about how great our navy are. They never think that our navy is contributing to the crisis, never realise 'twas our navy caused the death of those migrants yesterday. If they honestly wanted to rescue the migrants they would go to port and pick them straight up and bring them to Cobh. |

Africa (pop 1,100,000,000) trying to get to the EU to live of the system.
Ireland (pop 4,000,000) worked every **** job everywhere they went, most didn't even live long enough to get a pension. The one exception is the tinkers who are going around Europe screwing all around them, wouldn't mind if they were put on a raft, towed 13 miles of the coast and see would anyone come and pick them up. |

So what is your solution SITC? Put them up in hotels like your own country(UK) and have them stand around lamping your daughters all day doing sfa? You think we should take a load in while the Irish themselves have to emmigrate? It will cost our own through so many areas.
I pity Greece this morning,a cruel hand and only means further suffering for their own. |

By:
and have them stand around lamping your daughters all day
seriously pmsl ![]() are they getting that much ? |
|
By:
Maybe in a good few cases no,twas said though with a little bit of tongue in cheek but in reality it wouldn't be that far out.

my solution is to swap the illegal lorry hangers for the mindless "are you looking at my bird" idiots who grace every town centre on Friday/Saturday nights. Job done

A few facts for ya to chew over in relation to your "little englander" view on 8th aug 10.42.
Estimated to be 5 million + British ex pats. Of these 253,605 reside in the Rep. of Ireland.(source The Telegraph 11 aug) You can look at that yourself in a few ways, percentage wise, pro rata or whatever suits yourself SITC. |

Its a real Liberal elite thing to hate your own and love the strange,RTE has it in spades.
Very true. The Animal Rights Action Network are displaying this attitude at the moment also in their attempted attacks on Puck Fair. This is a uniquely Irish festival which has been taking place for over 150 years and brings huge economic benefits to the region. Yet this spineless organisation has very little opposition to the production of halal meat which is far crueler and brutal to animals. They probably wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of one of their fellow liberal interest groups who support muslims and also receive huge amounts of state funding. |
