Cork were just well beaten by a better side today. They have had little underage success in recent years and have struggled to replace the players of the mid to late 00's. Today's defeat had nothing to do with management and all to do with the simple fact that the players just weren't good enough.
JBM is a gentleman and a legend of the GAA. What he did as player and manager in both codes at club and county level was unbelievable and he deserves a little bit more respect on what is a disappointing day for him. Being a Kerryman and having disagreed with the strikes all those years ago, I have never been a fan of Cork GAA but I always liked to see them do well when JBM was involved. |

King the problem with Cork is that in the last 7 seasons they have not won any Munster titles at minor or U21 level. The havnt even won a Harty Cup during that period.

yeah, thats a very good point ark and i completely accept that.the problem today is,they downed tools, threw in the towel.the early goal?what can i say?he should have been poleaxed.and that was basically the attitude of the cork players.jimmy has to put his hands up here.
