Ante Post available now with both the Plate and Hurdle. I notice the fairly well fancied Katie T in the hurdle is given around a 16/1 quote, she was given an engagement at the Curragh over the weekend but missed it due to an injury. Do the books know the extent of the injury or are they just putting a price on her just purely based on the entry? No answers please.

The Day One entries are up. One of the naps of the week in First Figaro runs in the bumper. Think Pyromaniac is a certainty off his mark in the amateur race. He is stone well in. Harvey uses a plethora of amateurs so hard to know who will be up. Regardless I am sure whoever is chosen will be well drilled for the assignment.
It's going to be another good week for Newton Anner Stud.

Tony it's not rocket science. He became a nap for Galway the minute he passed the post 28 lengths clear of the 3rd in Punchestown. He won't come off the bridle. There should be enough opposition that he won't be a ludicrous price. Shark will run his horse as will Tom Mullins. Willie will also probably run Prince D' Aubrelle and AOB will run the JP horse that ran in Killarney.
Whether he is backable isn't about what price he is alone. It's in the context of the race. If none of the above turned up he's be a punt at 10's on.
