Kenny and his government are more vocal and to the front of the que to attack Greece than they have ever been on any topic before.
It seems Germanys agenda is more important than our own.
Kenny , Noonan and Harris taking it in turns to say Greece have to introduce more hardship on their peoples.
He's now bricking it that the EU and ECB are trying to tempt Greece back into talks saying its not too late to cut a deal.
This would be his worst nightmare as even he wouldn't be brazen enough to continue saying he got the best deal possible for Ireland.
Or would he ?
Hopefully this shameless traitor gets his comeuppance soon.

What a load of old rubbish.
Why the hell would the Irish government go on a solo run in Europe and say -well we took the painful measures to correct the severe imbalances in our finances and we've met the debt commitments that arose -but now we think that the Greeks ,who have run a basket case economy for years should get a write-down that we didn't get? That would be plain idiotic -and for what benefit ?

Greece will never be able to pay back the money. If they get a write down they will make us look like plums. Greece have rode the european system. I reckon they are going to be forced to pull out. It would probably end up in the long term be to their benefit as they will never pay back what they owe. A few years of hardship but then they will get back on their feet. You can't keep kicking the can down the road.
if we supported the greeks in there debt write off then there was a fair chance we get some help in the future with ours. simples. but the muppet kenny decided it would show up fg strategy and ruin there election prospects so they didnt support them. hope they leave the euro as it will drop the germans right into the sht.

If we spoke up for their plight and how tough it was here even though we were in a better position to start with it might have put pressure on every one to give them a deal,
Spain, portugal and italy not in the best of positions either and they might have backed the fight putting enormous pressure on to change the current thinking and policy as it only favours a few countries.
But as you say the only concern of kenny now is to not look bad and win the next election at any cost.
