That is something to be thankful for,is it right to dump them on the Italians surely if its a concern for the safety of the traffickers customers they should be landed at the nearest port.

Its gesture politics, its hypocritical and its criminal.

Thanks for the kind words,I was round the world in 21 days but traveling for three of those days, this is relevant with regards the problem of immigration.
Its now so easy for massive population transfers that its increased the problem.

For me immigration is the problem of our age.

Hope you enjoyed it. You probably dodged a bullet with the racing, thought there were some quare results the last few weeks but that is only my opinion.

Why don't the LE Eithne just cut to the chase and steam into some port in Libya and hike up a sign "All Aboard......"

Its gesture politics, its hypocritical and its criminal.

In light of the terrorist atrocities which happened last friday, I thought Joan Burton's comments regarding accepting 'our fair share' of these migrants were in poor taste. It is common knowledge that ISIS are using these traffickers to get their terrorists into Europe.

We haven't a clue who we are taking in from these boats and it is outrageous that the likes of Burton are calling for us to take in more considering the war they are waging against the west. Frances Fitzgerald seems to be sceptical about the whole thing but it is likely she will be overpowered by the labour members of cabinet.
