While Listowel can be a graveyard sometimes at least you can focus on heavy ground horses when trying to pick a few ... 3 for me worth chancing with a bit of value

Bob The Bouncer 3.10 ew 4/1

Was bigger earlier on but was tipped up by the excellent Kevin Blake ....Can see why , real eyecatcher the last day at navan in its first handicap . staying on over the stiff 5 from a long way back ...vasoni. battleoftheboyne.ducky mallon to name a few all came out and won the next day aswell so form quite good...... Slight ground worry but seemed to handle it well at the curragh on its third maiden start when it went from the front but probably wasn t overly " busy " getting its handicap mark .... will defo be winning races this summer off 65 ... if ground not an issue and with it drawn 3  i think it will start today..

Never Again 5.10  ew5/1

While Laviniad will be all the rage around evens i think this fella can t be out of the first 3 despite being 4 pounds out of the handicap and is free each way at the price .... Came from the back to win on heavy at cork in its first handicap over the trip ... got a hike of 15lbs for that !! .... ran down the field when upped in trip the next day at limerick on faster ground but showed real promise again at Kilarney the last day when he was able to get his toe in ... would have got there in another stride or too when touched off by sacrifical whos now rated in the 90 s .
Nobody rides Listowel as good as Chris Hayes and with ground no issue he ll give the jolly plenty to think about

Mireya 5.40 Listowel 4/1 w/o Wicklow brave

At first glance most might think she has no chance but when u look at the other 3 w/o the jolly i think they all will have grave concerns about getting the trip on the bad ground .....Mireya won t as she won a hurdle race over 2m 4 on heavy here a while back .... Gets the weight allowance together kelly harrisons claim which will help with her being "wrong" at the weights .... Cardinals Palace defo wants it better and the furtest he s won is 1m 4 but on quick ground while davids park did win a race on heavy that was only at 7 furlongs .... Can see Mireya staying on to chase home the jolly and at 4/1 to do that is well worth chancing....
