This Dansili gelding who is a prominent runner threw his chance away by veering of a straight line over c+d (firm ground might have been some mitigation). He showed there that he's certainly very capable of this mark despite his upward trajectory through the handicaps. That handicap over c+d looked strong to me with the second obliging of a 6lbs higher mark last Saturday.
18.05 Tramore - Children's list
Not a very novel selection but the objective is to be profitable. Course form always an advantage at the seaside venue and this presenting gelding was impressive in his bumper here beating the well fancied Ordinary World. He should improve from his debut over hurdles at Killarney over 2m 6f in rain softened ground and that form has been subsequently franked by the gatechecker. The opposition looks moderate and should be closer to 1/2 than the odds against that he is currently trading on here.
Stakes Watersmeet - 1.0 point ew at 5/1 (without Penhill) Children's list - 3.0 points win at 2.0
Those races aren't on my list to back but if I was there or forced to make a choice :-
1520 Newmkt - dutch Elhaame and Dashing Star , maybe ew
1805 Tramore - Childrens List is almost a bet for me, but not quite so I'd probs dutch it with Corrigs
One I do fancy myself is 1905 Tramore - Avant Tout (FR)

I did not think Childrens List had held at 1/1 all the way to 2:00.
A horse to take on in the future but you need opposition and that was non existent today.

I think literally as I posted the evens had been taken. There was €3100 matched between 2.28 and evens at that point and a further €11,000 from 2.00 to 1.9 from 2.00 -2.40.
So perhaps 1.9 after commission would be a truer reflection at posting time.
He was 8/11 with the books when still odd against on here. Certainly not one to be following and only for Ruby dictating probably wouldn't have won.
Don't generally return to winning threads as I normally do a good bit of antagonising before them.
