In all fairness Norn, have you had a look at the leaderboard, a whole heap of no marks. Long odds on to be won by a journeyman, and the fact you could have bad weather as well, id say if you put them tickets in a lucky bag you wouldn't get takers.
Its only a pile of Shiite anyway, McIlroy and Garcia couldn't get out of the dive fast enough and id say if Fowler could be gone home tonight he would be away in a flash. Crazy golf on grass, that's what it is. |

Might be difficult to place those tickets ,norn . Weather looks to be worsening , really gloomy tonight . Quite a few I spoke to had season tickets but were not planning to go on Sunday . I gave mine to a friend who may go . Others will do likewise I suspect .
Pity there are none of our lads up there , miracle needed for an Irish victory . That wont help attendance either . Tickets are sold out , but may not mean there is still demand for tickets in the circumstances . The fact that all tickets have been sold surely indicates that the event is hugely popular and deserves a better slot weather wise than May in Ireland . |

As you say NORN , one of the best aspects of the venue was that it is easy to access town , and the passouts worked well . I only went out once , for lunch on Wednesday , to the Percy French which we expected to have to queue for . Walked in at 12.45 , only 2 tables occupied , when we were leaving there were queues for tables .
Think some of the guys might play the course differently when they sit down and think about . Generally there is no trouble on the approaches to the greens , short is better than level in a lot of cases . Kjeldsen was one of the few who played the 7th properly in practice , he cut an 8 iron in against the prevailing ( Castlewellan ) wind . Ernie hit 3 shots off the 7th tee , none of them were the right shot , he even moved the tee marker to get a better angle . Great advertisement for RCD , Open next target on horizon ? |
