I see now police think they've tracked the man who sold her the drugs, now while I do not condone drug dealing I do ask myself the question if she was some druggie from the inner city and not some pretty young one from an affluent area would they be searching for the person who gave her the tablets like this. It all seems like the Katie French episode again to me.
Also if they have already tracked the man and it is that easy then why are they not getting surveillance from niteclubs every weekend and arresting and prosecuting those selling drugs or is it just a case of wait until something terrible happens but only happens to somebody from the right background to make them do something?
I am sure there are people getting seriously sick and even worse from bad drugs, drugs overdoses etc........... every week but they don't seem to put the effort into catching the dealers as they do when somebody from a well to do family and well to do area suffers.
It is however very sad and I feel for the poor girls family

You seem to be suggesting the Gardai shouldn't investigate a death.
You obviously cannot follow the thread Wildman - I never said that or suggested that, it is quite clear what I am suggesting and it is clearly not that

You have this inverted snobbery and think that because she was from a wealthy area the Gardai pursued the gentleman who sold her the drugs.
The girl died,they have to investigate her death.

Pointless even debating with you with those mental views, nobody forced either girl to do the drugs, both girls looked for the drugs themselves and both girls done the drugs, it is not murder ffs.
What I am implying is that certain lives are given more importance by social standings (where they're from, their family background etc...............)

When Katie a french took ill she was denied medical treatment.

There where accusations of a 90 minute gap from when they found her until she was brought to the hospital but again that is not murder, you should really check the meaning of the word

The gentleman you named dropped a dying woman at a hospital and legged it,he never gave the doctors any help by telling them what had happened.
You may defend his actions but you would hardly call them chivalrous.

They panicked and didn't tell the doctors they'd been coke'd out of it and they'd picked it up, hardly the biggest shock in the world. It clearly was not the right thing to do but it does not make it murder no matter how you try and portray it.

So the excuse is they panicked,they thought of themselves and didnt give a toss about a dying women.
Any normal decent person would have taken her immediately to hospital and done everything possible to save her life,they didnt.

They said they did bring her straight to hospital (you have no proof otherwise, I have no proof to back that up), added to that they where no doubt coke'd off their tits too so probably where not thinking too rationally.

I'm genuinely shocked you could defend this creature,I'm equally shocked at Distant View.
I remember that Annabelles case and the lad that was killed started the fight,it was because the kids came from a wealthy background they were wrongly pursued.

It was the lad from my home place that was charged rather than the Dublin lads.
I am defending nothing, but there is most certainly a difference in the reaction of the press when it happens in a middle class area.
I am not referring to any Garda investigation of any of these matters, but the publicity that it attracts in the press.

It is the same with the homeless guy - If he had been "considerate enough" to die a few streets away from the Dail, then his death might not have even received a mention anywhere in the press.

They were all charged,I think it was the Monaghan lad that was convicted,wrongly in my opinion.
I have noticed at times you have to tell Wildman somethings 3 or 4 times before they sink in.
Give Wildman a break, he has a lot on his mind at present. The referendum has drained him.
