Failed the Mullins vet check is the usual reason anyway. He sends plenty back.

ive gone with elm park chelts, impressed me last season im surprised hes as big as he is..and ive had a fair bet on the Elliot bumper horse @perth..1 bet at Tipperary, looking forward to my home card tomorrow night has a decent looking ptp bumper

Tony Stonehall Jack has no chance.  Handicap debut and is too high in the weights.  Easy way to make money, laying all these handicap debut horses.  Bet you can name 5 horse over the last year in Ireland to win on their handicap debuts over hurdles or fences?
Report tony57 May 14, 2015 3:12 PM BST
you may be right bws, but its a bad race and it ran ok lto, could get away with it and @6/1 I thought it was worth a bet

JFK a wonder horse my arse , a plain looking animal that never showed anything and never LOOKED anything either .
Report easygold May 14, 2015 4:44 PM BST
Hi Tony, I went through this race last night and I would be more worried about the ground, soft/heavy looks questionable. He is by Gamut, and I know Gamut preferred a sound surface.

I have no bet in the race looks a tricky one.
Report Ozymandius May 14, 2015 7:15 PM BST
Tony, you're a nice guy and I cannot just sit back and watch you burn though money on a daily basis.  No more hard luck stories.

It's time, bud;

Take no notice Tony, will you get a life Oz,sad to say you were delighted that the horse lost so that you could leave a smart comment,
Done a double tonight the last two fav to win in the two bumper races @3/1 for small money for the interest,

tony keep an eye out for one of my notebooks from 2013/2014 list, the horse won the november handicap last yearCool is now being trained by irelands greatest jumps trainer of all time W P MULLINS.

It wasn't just that horse Huddys, it was the (blind) 'fair' bet he had on ELliots in Perth and Elm Park earlier today.  Got the hat trick up, again.

It's hard to watch on a day to day basis.

You would have to be a fairly heartless man not to be concerned.

Blind Betting...... mad
Report roadrunner46 May 14, 2015 8:24 PM BST
easygold why havent you got your own thread on here, then everyone can judge your selections. you are always watching the races, must be able to pick out a few winners, give the lads a few winners.
Report Distant View May 14, 2015 8:42 PM BST
What do you fancy in that point to point bumper at Aintree tony?

I have no time to go through the videos and even that would not help me very much.

Looks just about the toughest race to have a bet in that there might be in 2015.
Report TellTheKing May 14, 2015 8:45 PM BST
You'd want help to get involved in that race as far as I can see. Nearly all unexposed and difficult to correlate form never mind translate it to a bumper. Then you'll have at least a dozen of them fancied, many of them by people who wouldn't know what day it is.
Report easygold May 14, 2015 9:10 PM BST
Roadrunner... i do from time to time give an opinion...... do you not see them.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 10:53 AM BST
oz belive it or not I come out ahead yesterday?..i did back 3 losers..but I had 2 winners at fontwell..which kept me ahead..just so you know oz..the day before I won a substantial sum..which keeps me very happy..Laughand I thought shortall jumping let it down if it had jumped well enough it would of won..elm park needed it more than I thought I wouldn't give up on it..the only one was elliots..that was disappointing..
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 10:58 AM BST
as for the ptp bumper tonight I,ll wait till I see them..but a friend of mine who is close to one of the jockeys in the race says they are very sweet on there runner..but all eyes will be on the fry horse with biddick up..
Report Ozymandius May 15, 2015 11:03 AM BST
Fair play to ya Tony!

Shure I needn't have been worried at all..you  were creaming it behind the scenes!

Chap is the one that I am hearing about for tonight, but I will steer clear of it myself as it is a minefield.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:15 AM BST
it is indeed tough I may not have a bet? but until I see them I wont know.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:18 AM BST
creaming it? no oz..but a decent day Wednesday ..indeedCool
Report mincer11 May 15, 2015 11:24 AM BST
Tony, no disrespect but what  difference will looking at them make?. There are very few people who go racing who really know what they are looking at, and most punters do not fall into that bracket. Even wonky fancies himself at that game, he was at the parade ring one night in leopardstown and failed to notice a horses wedding tackle hopping off the floor. Need I say anymore
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:26 AM BST
mincer,if for instance the fry horse stands out a mile..i may back it?..having a look at them is vital imvho..ive not backed plenty ive fancied, after seeing them in the paddock..
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:29 AM BST
I can tell you having been racing with wr..he knows his stuff..take that how you wish ..horses are not machines..but as I said these horses in this bumper are all babys..I may not have a bet as ive said.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:33 AM BST
the bowen team are confident they will have winners tonight
Report mincer11 May 15, 2015 11:36 AM BST
Standing out a mile tony is very often in people's imagination. From my experience 95% of people who think they are paddock judges are not.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 11:54 AM BST
fair point mincer..but you don't have to be a paddock judge to know when one looks well and is showing the right signs..i never knew what to look for until I became a owner and got involved and I was lucky enough to spend time with ken pitterson who gave me some clues what to look for ..but im not claiming to be a paddock judge..but imvho it makes all the difference to be there and see them as to not being there?

I know you have no reason to worry Oz,he did pm me Weds with a 9/1 winner with great reasoning, maybe he declined to put it on here due to the like of yourself.
Report Ozymandius May 15, 2015 2:49 PM BST
Yeeeeee...Haaaawwww.....the old PM chestnut...it used to be that everyone was a winner on Betfair....now everyone is a winner on PM!  It used to be the 'clap on the back brigade' preferred a public winner Grin

wd with the midweek lotto numbers, Tony, PM if you get a feel for anything for Saturday's draw.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 2:54 PM BST
im sorry oz,i could not make it public, and those told were asked to keep it to themselves..as owners deserve to get on at best prices before anyone else?
Report Ozymandius May 15, 2015 3:02 PM BST
Fair enough Tony, but you know if you ever want to employ my PR services, you only have to drop me a winner or two by PM.

It would be my greatest challenge to date but I reckon I could get you 'Tipster and Forumite of the Year 2015' on an exceeding expectations basis.  Failing that 'Overseas Poster of the Year' would be a lock.

And lets not forget that ONE nag you PM'ed that trailed off last with me balls deep on.
Report tony57 May 15, 2015 3:24 PM BST
lol..true oz..they don't all win,but we as punters know that. anyway just getting ready to go to Aintree!
Report CheltenhamRoar May 15, 2015 10:22 PM BST
