Hi Lads, Just wondering how people are managing(if at all) to get any even half decent bets(nothing more than €200/€300 with bookmakers online? Is this even possible anymore? Paddys and Spoils are a particular embarrassment but I guess that has long been the case. Recently I deposited €10 into my Spoils account and it took me 47 random bets just to empty the funds!!! Max bets of €0.27 and the like. Are there anyone selling "losing" accounts or able to get decent sized bets on at overnight/morning prices?

Thanks Workrider. Not pretending to be a big punter or anything like that, just so frustrating to miss out on the best of the prices after waiting weeks for a horse.

It's 1.01 you can get on any amount you want Wonky but you can't trust yourself so how could anyone else ?

Give us an old laugh and tell us you have had multiple accounts restricted?

How many years ago is it now that you retired from the boardroom and turned PRO (for 5 weeks,ha)

Nice each way selection on alive alive oh there in a 7 runner race (ended up six) on Monday ya old shrewdie.

I actually have some sympathy for you because your two brain cells are clearly frazzled on here of late.

A clown, Roadrunner? I rarely post on here, preferring to go about my business. I merely sought some advice, if you have nothing to offer why bother replying?

You are looking for advice when in your own words you prefer to go about your own business, how does that work and do you see the contradiction?
You have an exchange that only has generally a few hundred matched a few hours beforehand on Irish racing.
You have bookmakers risk adverse and will only let you have a decent bet overnight online if they THINK you are a mug punter.
You have shops open the previous evening when prices are available.

Gallistic there was a lengthy discussion on this on the “Profitable Punchestown” thread. Have a look at that.

Basically you really do need to live in an urban area with ready access to offices. You will also need accounts with all the major crowds (multiple if possible). I get on those kind of bets handy enough, firstly in cash and then online if B365 / VC are top price (though wouldn’t stake to win more than a grand online). Boyles closed me after one bet and Slybet are a waste. WH are weakish too at times. I’ve always heard here and elsewhere that you can’t bet online early. My experience with B365 and PP (both accounts well in the black) plus VC (losing account) has largely been good.

B365 went 9/2 on Taglietellie last night against a general 11/4-3/1,hopefully that compiler will keep going til he reaches retiement age.

That was a pure rick price Pa. Possible that they were caught offside by the jockey booking (first ride for Jack Kennedy who has ridden heap of flapper winners). Even the general 11/4 was big for a horse with his recent form.

Bit bizarre alright TTK hough the 11/4 held up til breakfast time,i seen too JK has won plenty on ponies. Gordon was going for a go off the Chester cup with this fella but was balloted out,his currentjumps form is top notch, bit short now even so.

Didn't even look at the card until the 11/4 was long gone as I try to stay away from Flat racing at Clonmel. Think its an awful track for the code.

He was probably a punt at about 2's or better. No value at the current price despite it not being hard to seeing him win well. Bolger's should win the 2nd and I can see why Balkinstown has halved in price in the last. I'd rather set fire to money than have it on round there though.
