This has to be backed, looks v well handicapped here, better ground will suit and if Henry can eek any improvement which imo he def will, top rider onboard too, this horse is ready to win, confident bet. gl |

Dedigout for me tomorrow, ground has come for him and there has always been the sense that he is a Grade 1 horse when they get a clear run with him. surely the solid option here. Will run right to the line and I'd be really disappointed with him if he couldn't give Hurricane Fly hell here. well done to david Jennings who stuck him up at 9's earlier in the week.
Newsworthy was put up here by Keen Leader a few weeks ago and went high in-running before winning well enough. That is a world away from this test but his point rep, the trainer's ability with young horses and the fact Michael Buckley would love a Punchestown winner have enticed me in. Could see him shortening a bit from the 6's with B365 tomorrow. Have seen DJ has stuck these two up so apologies for copying.... |

Thursday's Selections 17.30 - Dedigout 0.8 point EW at 7/1 (PP) 18.05 - Roll it out 1.5 points EW at 16/1 (Bet 365) 18.05 - Rogue Trader 0.7 point EW at 12/1 (Bet 365) 19.45 - Yorkhill 3 points win at 2/1 (Bet 365) 19.45 - Newsworthy 1.2 points win at 11/2 (Bet 365) TellTheKing • April 29, 2015 10:51 PM BST 0pts return from 10pts staked. Not a very promising start. With the level of confidence behind him, Oscar Knight could have been one that got away. Won't get a chance to punt him at that price again in such a weak race. Onto the middle day of the Festival: 4:50 - Keep On Track 0.5pts e/w @ 16/1 (PP 1/5 Odds 3 Places) 5:30 - Hurricane Fly 4pts win @ 5/2 (WH & Ladbrokes) 6:05 - Roll It Out 1.5pts e/w @ 10/1 (PP 1/4 Odds 5 Places) 7:05 - Hannahs Princess 2pts win @ 5/1 (PP) callitasucit • April 29, 2015 11:18 PM BST Today could have been better, had banked Identity Thief and Figaro Flyer at various stages of their races. Unfortunately what goes on in my head doesn't determine the pay out!! 3pts e.w Ned Buntline 6-1 6pts Hurricane Fly 5-2 1.2pt e.w Phare Isle 16-1 (5 places) 3pts e.w Newsworthy 11-2 Will add Hannahs Princess at anything over 5s. 13-2 at mo with BFSB. |

13/2 is a massive price on Hannahs Princess. Think it's very much a case of pro-Irish bias in the market. Assuming she runs her race she is almost guaranteed to be travelling best turning in. The trip is a question for all the rest at the top of the market, several of whom have had a tougher season than this mare.

The World Hurdle is a fascinating race. I think it is a bad move running Hurricane Fly, I fear this race could finish him off. I doubt that he will stay the 3 mile trip,he should be running in the Champion Hurdle. The owners aren't very sporting by diverting the horse to this race, It would have been the higlight of the week if they had decided to take on Faugheen. They have won over €2 million with the Fly so their decision is baffling. Obviously too many good horses in the yard has forced Willie Mullins to find this opportunity for the legendary horse but it is a poor decision. The one I like e/w is Ttebbob at 40/1. He stays the trip, is improving and is three times the price of I Shot the Sheriff (14/1) whom he should have beaten at Fairyhouse at Easter. I know this is a huge step up in class but on current form, there is not a decent 3 miler in the race.

Such a pity the Dedigout is absent The Gotchee, the strong pace was assured,Jessie had a twinkle concerning Ttebob after Walk to Freedoms post race interview yesterday and that was that they worked together in their last piece, agree with everything you say with class though not quite agree with I Shot the Sheriff at Fairyhouse, couldn't not have a small ew on Jessies after that interview.

A few nibbles today ..
Dogora ,I always felt there was a good race in this lad ,never thouht he'd drop to this level tbh , backed him in National were he made some terrible blunders ,maybe he has found his level ....... Jezki , has cost me big this year , hoping the step up in trip will suit... Newsworthy ..Backed this fella first time up at Kempton were he ran as green as grass , sure to improve and we no longer have the upper hand in bumpers .... Good luck all punters.... |
|
By:
Pa, I Shot the Sheriff got first run and at the same time Robbie was struggling to get out of a pocket. To say he should have won is probably stretching it a bit. Ttebbob is 7lb better off with Sheriff for the 3 and a half lengths he was beaten the last day so I can't see that much between them.
|
|
By:
I wasn't having a go or anything Gotchee, was very impressed with I shot the Sheriff that day as he still had a fair bit left and did a lot of the "donkey work",hopefully as said there will be a bit of pace and it is a true 3m test, hail Mary prices but both with a bit of luck could run alright.

Regarding Ttebob Jesie mentioned him on TV yesterday as a lively outsider. Chappers scoffed and Jessie pointed out he had worked very well alongside that hoss of hers that won nicely yesterday.

Srry Pa, see now that you already mentioned that.

One senses the punters need The Fly to come good for them. I know I do!

Jezki twice da hoss minus McCoy

3 miles seems to be Jezki's right distance,no more 2m for him after that.

|
By:
Good performance given how free he was. The Fly showed his battling side again to be a clear second despite never going with much zest. Looks like the pressure may be off getting Jonjo's horse back with Jezki campaigning over three miles.

typical..mullins 3rd choice does me..

Jezki loved the trip and ground. If he wasn't champion they'd have stuck him up in trip sooner on what he was doing earlier this year.
