Cant stand the little horrible urchins......disgusting little basstards.....
The failure to keep things simple is the annoying thing....the huge ego's without the talent to back it up.....the cliches they use.....the air of importance......
looking forward to the day somebody drags one of them off a horse.....and kicks them around the parade ring......
"Growing a leg on that ground" is the new phrase they use.....i can just see the instructor in RACE spelling out leg for the illiterate yokes.....
There may be a few exceptions to the rule but there arent many.....

It was Pa .....and i am talking through my pocket.....but if its not Mcdonagh ,its Lordan or Foley or another of them umpa lumpas.....
No way in the world would Ruby walsh or Geraghty lose on a horse that had so much in hand.....and he lost the race by trying to be smart.....acting the knobb....which he is anyway..... Even if he got it up on the line it wouldnt have taken away from the fact that it was a shocking ride..... |

i dont mind people making mistakes.....everybody makes them.....and i dont mind ordinary riders losing races that others wouldnt.....simply because they dont have the required knowhow....and you know that they are limited when you are backing them.....but its the showboaters.....the look at me merchants.....like that McDonagh....they are the guys that annoy me....

The enforcer is right frank....he wouldn't enforce a good Shiite .....I've seen bigger leprechauns than him.....the next thing we will have is that clown dan saying how underpaid and how brave the midgets are.....and that they should never be suspended.....well I'd like to suspend a few of them.....from o Connell bridge if I was allowed....

95 winners and their a professional........ 98% are very poor the other 2% are good that make less errors. But you need to know which ones..... and lower your stakes on the ones that are dodgy.

What is McDonagh supposed to have done wrong.
His horse came under pressure turning in,went wide for the better ground,started to run on but started to hang in so he had to change his whip hand,this caused the horse to falter and duck in behind the winner. Its also possible Neverushacon came out slightly hampering Awesome Star. |

Shane Foley has had 3 stakes winners this season already all on outsiders...riding out of his skin not one word bt him on the forum....he got beat on a pig who would nt go by in an egg and spoon race in dundalk and he was tore apart here...just shows how bitter
and negative punters are....halford is popular with owners cos he minds and nurtures their horses and they end up with a horse not just a short term winner. |

Yeah the horse is a bit quirky, and his trainer hasn`t got the fire power any more.......... anybody punting the same stakes in April on the flat they would normally need a new sport.

Dan....if you think he didn't do anything wrong then you should give up the game....firstly the horse had more than the required stamina as proven in Galway....so why the need to produce it late....why take a pull before the home turn.... Why the need to change the whip into his left hand...it was pathetic.....and there's no way in the world it should have got beaten....he was acting the knobbend and he threw away the race...it's as simple as that......the thing is he fancies himself as being a jockey....a bit like lordan does.....but they are just basic journeymen....

And those stakes races you mention.......... fair enough but when 95% of the field don`t handle soft conditions it`s easier.

I thought he made a mistake going outside Wildman,certainly would have won except the manouevre of going around cost at least a length,horse had plenty at the finish.Race was marred by Marvallosos very likely demise.He rode a fine race yesterday on Corbata.

Pa, what was brilliant, lead,horse comes off the bridle, and push to the line??? the two other horses in the race un-fit and may have found the ground too soft.??????. Surely that was just any horseman would do.

I didnt see him take a pull,changed his whip because your pals would have banned him if he didnt,the horse was hanging in.

Conor hoban won a handicap today because he dropped an average horse in and made a late rattle home kidding a poor horse
into running a good race.....its only docket trowers who want all these horses drilled up to the lead...then turn around and say no excuse when beaten...any one who owns a horse knows how much difference it makes to leave a racecourse with ur horse running well b it win or b placed....dropping them out a bit is def the best way to get them to run well...punters dont like it tho!!! |

He took the race by the scruff,went a fair lick and kicked again, doing that when he had probably a good idea that the other pair may have needed the race?not like the ground is why imo Easygold.

He changed his whip because he wanted to show what a good jockey he is.... There was no need to move his whip from his right hand.... He was hanging left.....he fired away the race pure and simple....anyone who thinks Smullen or Hayes wouldn't have won on that needs to have a chat with themselves.....

I'll downgrade it to very good Easygold so,fair point Tocky is making that they get a lot more abuse than praise,Pat Smullen may have the best horse in the race a lot of the time recently but he positions himself that he has the race covered if able(some may argue not in the 1st today),he is a joy to watch.

Smullen hit the front abt a furlong too soon on an odds shot in tipp last week...seamie heffernan came with a late run to do him
not a word abt it tho cos it looked like welds was not good enough....but smullen got it totally wrong and if he had to take his time im sure he would have won |

He never ever hung left,he lugged to the right forcing Kaleefa towards the rail,he then ducked under Neverushacon.
I think Pa Lapsy is right,had he gone up the inner he would have won but that's a split second decision and the better ground was on the outside. |

It says a lot about the current level of talent on the Flat that McDonagh will still finish in the Top Ten list for the season. He's a gone rider. The filly is no star but that's all the more reason why he should be held accountable. There won't be many softer chances given to her than yesterday.

Sorry still feeling the effects of last night and mind not 100%. Welds runner was the filly.
Just inside the 2f pole after wheeling out the first few had lengths on him. Instead of taking the bull by the horns he kept rowing away. You can be sure he was thinking he'd pick them up at his ease. Even inside the furlong he still assumed he was going to get there without going for it and didn't even have a proper hold of the horse to stop it lugging in behind Fran's. There is a 2.5f pull up the straight in Limerick so it takes a fair man to give their horse too much to do after only being three lengths behind turning in. |

Still talking about the same race??????? there will be at least 15 more poor rides from him during this season save yourself for those. And keep your fingers at the ready for Billy Lee, you guy`s seem to miss the Richard Hughes of racing over in Ireland, push comes to shove eh no can`t get them home or placed.

Easy I doubt I'll be commenting on too many more jockeys rides. Not my style. I also will be playing very rarely during the Irish Flat season. Far tougher game to make pay for various reasons.
Billy Lee is possibly the most dependable rider in Ireland (after Smullen I would say). You must have cataracts in your eyes to compare his style with Richard Hughes. Only similarity is they are both tall for Flat jockeys. |

Tell The King....... that`s the difference between you and me........... I know which jockeys ride out to the line.......... Mr Lee and Mr Hughes are very a like off the bridle weak........ and don`t ride out to the line .......
