Once a fine snooker player but there comes a time when you're past it. That time was a few years ago for Ken, now it's just embarrassing.

Agree Frank,  lovely fella and a class player 10/15 years ago but he may concentrate on the commentating now but we're not talking about winning tournements here, this is about trying to pot 4 or 5 balls in a row.

We must go on the road, Wonks, you and me, a live show, off the cuff, trading barbs, frestyling.  Something reminiscent of Wilde and Shaw at the Albermarle Club.

george Bernard Shaw sent Winston Churchill a couple of seats for the opening night of one of his plays, . .

Shaw enclosed a little note with the tickets. It read, “Here are two tickets for the opening of my new play. Keep one for yourself and bring along a friend—if you can find one.”

Churchill returned the tickets with a nice little note, too.

“I’m sorry that a previous engagement precludes my attending your opening night.” he said. “I shall be happy to come the second night—if there is one.”

Shaw was seated at dinner once beside a very attractive young lady. "Would you come to bed with me for £1,000?" he asked her. "I certainly would, Mr Shaw." she replied. "Would you come to bed with me for £10?" Shaw asked. "Certainly not! What do you think I am?" she said.

"We have already established what you are."said Shaw. "We are merely haggling about the price."

A good looking woman met Shaw at a party, sidled up to him and said with my looks and your brains any child we would have would be bright and beautiful.
Shaw replied more likely though he would inherit my looks and your brains
