Bog War will be popular in that one Tony, very eyecatching last time, think he will handle the drop in trip as done okay on the flat but not sure he can be trusted to give his all, looks sure to run well all the same.
As an aside see D Weld introduced one at Dundalk tonight,Seems as if they (Stronach Stables) have a few in the States, anyone know have they more here?wonder is it a prelude of things to come or equally could just be a flash in the pan. GL with him Tony. |

Lost my bollix on Bog war last time. Was given a shocker by Lynch ad should have won on the bridle. Decent jockey up tomorrow and should not come off the bridle!

They have a good few with weld

Thanks BWS,they look a serious crew(he had a run in dec), looking them up there they have had plenty of sucess, worth a watch with them.
Yeah you were robbed last time,he is a bit of a thinker, not a strong field though and no mark,David could be the lad alright for him. |

Flemenstar v Felix should be a very interesting match , would love to see Flemenstar return to his old form , surely one of the most exciting chasers of the recent past...
|

By:
Has to rate a huge lay at the prices. Place lay aswell!! Felix should win
|
|
By:
Maybe you should wait and see what the market says before laying...?

connections fancy bog war to run a big race, told me to back it ew. Its a bit skinny though for me. Let me down for a lucky 15 last time.

Aintree is only around the corner Tony, always something in the jumps in Ireland throughout the summer and they have their own charm,in the past it use to be a complete shutdown for a while. Looking forward to the Curragh tomorrow though on a punting front nearly always like a horse to have a recent run,how much trouble Sole Power will find in Meydan also has captured my imagination a bit.
@ Newmanix, belated congrats on your horse last time,it was impressive(no need for reply,i may be wrong anyway.) |

Flemenstar traveled great for 2 miles and then some and then blew up.
Think the horse is crying out for the minimum trip. |

You might be right Punchestown,

Was very impressed with this Stronach owned horse the last time,Azzurri gave the run a bit of a boost yesterday as well, the mantra of ending up in the poorhouse with taking on elders early in the season could prove to be a load of ould guff.
Greatest of respect for Hardstone who really stuck to his task well last time,Won Diamond has a weight turnaround of 12lb for nearly 6l from that race, both haven't run for 6 months. Top weight is interesting as ran well over hurdles against the likes of Douvan,Semper Medici and Felix Yonger. Still thought this fella would be odds on against his current 6/4, the lack of a recent run from what looks to be his main rivals is a big plus but such was the impression he created last time it mightn't matter. |
