Evening gents ......Ever think of doing an accum bet where you know by the law of averages one of them is going to let you down but you still do the bet anyway ???? Well i think i am going to be drawn into the 4 mullins hotpots on day one as having studied the 4 races baring accidents/ hard luck stories i just can t see Douvan , Un De Seaux, Faugheen and Annie Power getting beat ...
The 4 horse accum pays over 13/1 ( taking powers prices 7/4,4/7.11/10,4/7 ) ........So if u bank on the first 2 going in , you could lay faugheen ( who ll probably go off evens or less ) to get your stake back ..... And its probably safe to assume that if Douvan , Un De Seaux and Faugheen go in the likelyhood is that the mare will go off shorter than 1/2 thus giving you the possibilities of laying some off on her ( even though she looks the biggest cert of the week )

didn't mean to be harsh chelts..just making a point that these mullins horses can be over hyped..i remember that horses was the 2nd coming..and wouldn't be beat..im not saying douvan wont win..im just saying its far too short for what its done..

i heard tony o hehir on the radio shy talking about how stupid anyone who done the 4 hotties were..ffs tony it was 1.05 to be up..the top bar of a hurdle away from coming thru dont be so smug and self important please..i know a guy who lost on on 22k because of it..
How would you chaps rate this piece of race reading and analysis;
* Champion Hurdle: How anyone can back TNO after way he jumped last time is beyond me? Poor Jezki will take one look at who is getting up on is back and think, ah jaysus not him. HF is not the best traveller (in sense of boat etc) ground not ideal perhaps, which brings me to Artic Fire, a posible improver in a race without many runners. I actually think we could see a Mullins 1,2 3.

1 It annoys me when people talk about WM hot-pots getting turned over. The record of his favourites at Cheltenham is probably superior to most if not all trainers (about 50% before this year)
2 People mention Pont Alexander. If my information is correct PA got loose on the morning of the Neptune and ran all over Prestbury and most likely got injured either then or during the race. Re TNO I've been telling his supporters for two seasons now (on HR and Cheltenham forums) that his form was rubbish and that they should have gone chasing with him after the Neptune.
3 As I said earlier the way to go on the hot pots was to add Vautour and do 5 four-timers and a five-timer. The drama of Tuesday will never be repeated again. For racing people it will never be forgotten. I was right over the last hurdle and I will see it all unfold in slow motion for the rest of my life. It cost me more than I will ever win in any one week of my life but I did have the winning (Vautour) four-timer.

just one thing maybe that many people might like to be aware of.the going tomoro will be a lot faster than anything most of them have encountered all year.it could throw up a few funny results..
