After Jason Day doing the business last week we have another great week ahead in the golf,il start of in America were the viewing wont be great in the first few days with the celebs been showing alot,
Going for two against the field,1st selection will be Patrick Reed,plays well in the past in theses type of events,and already has a win under his belt this year,
2nd selection is Jordan Spieth,going to give him another chance after missing the cut last week,were he never really got going,at around 14/1 seem good value,
Now on to Europe low graded field with not much depth in the field,
1st Selection is Noren who's back fit and injury free after a horror setbacks,he showed great form last time out to finish second in a great field,missed the 20/1 that powers had him,but was very happy to take the 14/1,stil looks great value,
2nd selection is Peter Uihlein, another player who's slowly coming back to form,and at his price at 25/1 worth a few quid in this weakened field,

What is becoming the trend is the way again this week, quite a decent event stateside, and much more mundane fare in Europe.
Also another week of what could be termed boring and obvious selections for me, but if I get the same end result as last week, then I wont be complaining!! In The True Thailand Classic (Is there a false one??!!), there are two players who in my opinion are far and away the most likely winners. Alex Noren and Marc Warren. Yes, they head the market, so that could be stating the obvious, but I would make both shorter than their current odds. And certainly their opening price. Quite how PP saw fit to chalk Noren up at 20-1 is beyond me. Though there are others in this field that could also be said to have a big class edge on the majority of others, there aren't many in the same vein of form as these two. Noren has returned from injury in sparkling form. Very impressive in taking the runner up slot behind McIlroy in Dubai, he took last week off to be ready for this, which he quite rightly sees as a great opportunity to get back in the winners circle. He had a nice sighter here in 2010, and given his current well being it will be something of a surprise if he isnt contending come Sunday. Warren is in equally good form, and though he doesn't have the benefit of a week off or a run our here, they should be any great disadvantage. He still looked in great shape last week in a better field, and the majority of the field will be seeing this layout for the first time. Quite simply, he is playing golf at a consistently different level to most of the opposition, and will surely take high rank once again. One who could trouble these two, and is far too big a price is Prayad Marksaeng. I have no idea how firms saw fit to push him out to 80-1, and the 75-1 still available is one of the e.w bets of the year IMO. A winner on this track in a lower grade, he has always played the course well, and his local knowledge will be valuable, when most of the serious contenders will have limited or zero previous visits here. A missed cut last week is of no concern, indeed it could be of benefit. There wont be many better 75-1 shots this season. 2pts e.w Alex Noren 14-1 2pts e.w Marc Warren 14-1 .5pt e.w Prayad Marksaeng 75-1 The AT & T at Pebble Beach will provide plenty more stars of the game, but also the pain in the arse which is a bunch of celebrities being shown more than the pros people have bet on!! One player who has thrived in this format is Patrick Reed He hasn't quite cracked the top 5, as he infamously declared he would, but he is not far off it. A third round 75 scuppered his chances here last year, but I don't expect him to give up such an opportunity so easily again. A winner already this year, he as good a chance as any in this field, yet is priced bigger than 4 others. Jimmy Walker, Jason Day and Dusty Johnson could easily prevail, and it would be no great surprise if any of them do. But how can Day and Walker be chalked up at 8-1, and Spieth be 16s and Reed 20s?? Dusty is still shorter in the betting than Reed, and though DJ has formidable form figures here, last week suggested it is going to take a couple of weeks before everything comes together for him after his layoff. Walker would have been the first player on everyones list, but is too short IMO. As is Day, who though mighty impressive in victory on Sunday, he missed the cut here last year off the back od a second at the Farmers. Jordan Spieth missed the cut last week, and odds compilers paid too much heed to that in their initial quotes for this week. He has been on record as saying he finds it hard to read Poa Annua greens, and maybe that was a reason behind his abject performance last week. He faces more of the same this week, but its quite possible he will just be more at home here. Last years 4th certainly bodes very well, and a poor 36 holes doesn't justify him being twice the price of the two favourites. I couldn't attain the 16s in Lads, but the 15s in Boyles was more than acceptable. Now to finally get away from the head of the market, I think this event could suit Shane Lowry down to the ground. Granted the weather forecast is for pretty glorious weather over the 4 days, but if the wind does get up at any stage, it can only serve to increase this links specialists chances. He had a very impressive weekend last week, and that will have given this modest gent all the confidence in the world that he has what it takes to mix it withy the best on the PGA Tour. Ernie Els finished third at Pebble in G Macs US Open, and will looking forward to returning here. Consistent, if not quite challenging of late, I feel he has more chance than plenty priced shorter this week, and could make quotes of 80-1 look very decent come Sunday evening. The 8-5 for Top South African very much catches the eye. PP are again offering 6 places, and were top price on The Big Easy. Another worth backing in PP was another PP, Pat Perez. 100-1 may be slightly below what he is on here, but the place terms make up for that, and its probably a place your chasing backing this lad. Second here in 2002, he has played consistently well until again performing with distinction in finishing 7th last year. Played poorly last week, but in good nick before that, it wouldn't be a surprise if he again performed above himself here. What I would consider the best bet of the bigger priced ones is Aaron Baddeley. 100-1 is a cracking bet IMO. He missed the cut last week, but again that is of no worry, as he has consistently raised his game for this event, and started only 40-1 here in 2013, yet is arguably better form this time around. 17th at Phoenix shows he has his game in order, and he can take high rank. The 10-1 on Baddeley finishing Top Australian strikes me as a tremendous bet. Anything above 6-1 is great value IMO. Jason Day is obviously the most likely victor of this market, but he did miss the cut here last year off a pretty similar week in the Farmers, and at as low as 1-3 he is definitely worth taking on here. Already has a win under the belt this year and 2 strong finished @ Pebble Beach last 2 years Kevin Na 50/1 Form progressing nicely this season last 3 starts. Two top 5 finishes here last 3 years adds should give him plenty of confidence coming in here Ian Poulter 50/1 Had a disappointing year last year but has started the season strongly this time including T19 last time when fading in the final round. Should be suited by this sort of test Spencer Levin 80/1 Impressive performance last week in T11 when lack of distance off the tee probably hindered him in the finish. Has some cracking form around her including 2 top 10 finishes Pat Perez 100/1 On record as saying he is currently delighted with his game and results have been quite good. He can play well after missed cuts with a sixth place at the '13 AT&T National, a second place at the '13 Wyndham and a T2 last year at the Masters. Dustin Johnson 16's..... a true horse-for-the-course at the AT&T Pebble Beach with a T7 in '08, WINS in '09 and '10, a T5 in '12 and a T2 last year. It's a it of shot in the dark tournament. Pebble Beach Ryan Palmer shows no signs of letting up. 25/1. Marc Warren struck the ball very well again this morning, continuing his rich vein of form. Having recovered nicely from a poor start, he really should have been another couple under par, the putter just letting him down late on. I expect to him to reverse the result of the first round 3 ball later on tonight. 7-4 is perfectly acceptable for him to do so.

I had planned on backing Jaidee last night, so dodged a bullet there. Very hard to see past the top 4 tonight, though at the same time, you could talk yourself into laying the lot of them if you wanted! Furyk has forgotten how to win. Snedeker has not been in the mix for awhile, and that may cost him. Jones finished very poorly last night, and that was only Saturday. And Watney was very tame in the finish last Sunday. Much to my annoyance. Can back lay them at 2-11 combined on here.... Hudson Swafford looks a standout bet in the 3 balls today. Not quite sure how he is chalked up at 9-4 tbh.
