Jonjo Bright Minerstown Tavern Cheltenham Festival Preview



Just want to go into a little more detail with regards the very kind gesture that I/we received at the races at Downpatrick yesterday from a lovely lady called Brenda McMillen. Brenda got in touch with our page at the start of the week to say that a good friend of hers, namely Sarah Dawson, recently celebrated a milestone birthday, (I'm too much of a gentleman to say which birthday, let's just say it was 21+), and organised a party for family and friends. Sarah asked for charity donations in lieu of presents, and decided that her chosen charity would be the Jonjo Bright Trust. Safe to say it was very well supported, and Brenda asked if she could meet me at Downpatrick so she could hand over the money raised to put along with the only we are raising with our Festival Preview evening. I'm delighted to report that Brenda handed me £700 to add to our ever growing amount. On behalf of our fundraising team, and on behalf of the Jonjo Bright Trust, I'd like to thank Sarah, Brenda, and everyone who attended her party for their wonderful, wonderful gesture. They plan to hold another fundraising event for Jonjo in the summer time, and we wish them the very best of luck with that. Thanks so much guys, much appreciated!

They way they backed it and then Standing Ovation going out in front to set the gallop and him more or less tracking him
