Agreed. I believe we could be in for a repeat of last year where all the public were on the popular team with the popular QB all week, and the heavy hitters in Vegas coming in late on the Sunday to hammer into the Seahawks. In other words get on Seattle before the line moves on Sunday.

Defenses win Championships

Both teams lucky to be in final imo,Dallas deserved the win, dodgy call on touchdown catch etc, don't see much value mabey a bet on Seahawks to be losing at ht and to win ft

This is some **** to wake up to on a Saturday morning, Seahawks are a one man team on offence, totally reliant on Lynch, and should have been sent home only for an unreal Packers collapse right at the end. No doubt they have quality defence, but good enough to stop the Gronk, I,m not sure.
Patriots win and an interest bet on Gronkowski MVP 12/1

Green Bay moved the ball was too easy in the first half in the NFC Championship game and Seattle has nothing working on offense. However it is hard to see them play that poorly again i would say as they made numerous errors and Wilson has an absolute shocker for the majority of the game. A lot will depend on how fit Richard Sherman is i would say as they will need him at his best.

Really looking forward to this

Russel Wilson won't have as bad a game again.

I favour the awesome defence over the very good offence.

Seahawlks will go off favourites.

Wilson is a very average QB. I can't see how people fancy Seattle, as I said above a one man team and that man isn't Wilson. Keep Lynch below 100 yards and Patriots win easy,  and I'm sure Belechik has a plan for that.

The Seahawks turned the ball over 6 times v Packers iirc yet were the better team, they out gained them out rushed them and out passed them. People are very much influenced by what they saw last and they saw the Pats destroy the Colts and the Seahawks struggle past the Packers. But it's the old adage defense wins championships and i can the Seahawks defense keep Brady quiet due to the way they defend the pass thus allowing their offense to put the points on the board to win. They have already played the 3 teams offensively this season and kept them down to an average of 22 points, so a repeat should see them win.

Great game but what a call at the end, heavens above probably the worst call in SB history if not the whole NFL.

Think you might be a bit biased there Rocket, looked bad but remember the 1st TD, same play but they had a man wide open. I didn't hear anyone asking why they didn't run then. Fact is QB was at fault, should never have thrown that ball. Anyway only for miracle fluke of a  catch, they wouldn't have been down there anyway. Pats far superior on the night,  should have had it sewn up by ht.

It's not the QB who would have called that play it came from the sidelines, you have the best running back in the game and you elect to pass rather than run it to win the SB from a half yard out, it's laughable. It will go down as the worst call in the history of the game for sure, well done but you were lucky.

The play has been called, agree about the call, but it should have been a no risk play. Any QB worth his salt knows if you're not 100% sure of the catch,  you throw it away. Wilson went for glory,  he's got away with it all throughout the playoffs and his luck just ran out.

i'd like to know how a team famed for their defense (one of best ever so we were told) let a 10 point slip in the last 15 mins. just shows you the amount of bull**** that gets talked, in all sports.

Conclusive evidence from a grade one bellend!

If I follow the common consensus and still can't make it pay then how is it possible? It's all fixed.

No wonder you criticise other forumite's predictions rather than put up your own thoughts.

Begrudgery as compensation for your own failings is a loss leader, hth old stock.

i didn't have a bet dj. it was a coin-toss...I'm pi$$ed off the pats won as i dislike that organization.

but to blow that big a lead with only a 1/4 left is near unprecedented. and i'm not saying bull was talked on this thread, just by media and sportswriters etc.

They are one of the best defenses of all-time.
3 of their 4 secondary stars were playing injured, and their 3rd db went off injured early on.

DJ876 comes out fighting but completely misinterprets the post he was complaining about.

Carroll had got all the calls right this year, the fake field goal pure genius but that last call was the worst call ever made.

Lynch had been unstoppable, they had three goes at getting him in for the winning score running the ball.that pass on second down with the risks was crazy.

The Patriots made a crazy decision in not taking a timeout in the last minute funny thing is it probably won it for them.
