Just looking at who they use, and obviously they spread their horses around but still have their favourites ...

The one really notable exception for me is Jessica Harrington .. does anyone have any idea why that is - I don't think anyone can argue with her ability to produce top class over fences, hurdles, flat -- imo, with the exception of Mullins she's probably the best all-round NH trainer in the country (or is that madness)

Also, does anyone know what her fees are like ? I'm actually curious about that myself as If I was going to I'd send one to her if she wasn't crazy expensive.

But as for Gigginstown is there some reason w Jessica ? I notice they don't use Michael Hourigan or Robert Tyner either, and especially the latter is very good.

They've definitely had horses with Hourigan, Mossbank being by far the best of em'.

They look for a deal off most of their trainers as far as i know , maybe that doesn't suit Jessie ..She is a wonderful trainer and the horses she buys are very similar to the type of horse Gigginstown buy themselves...

A Scouse syndicate and Jessie Harrington would not be natural combination.

Sorry Tony, I didn't understand that reply.  Also the small matter of the rogue question mark, something of a nervous tic at this stage.

I've mentioned this before myself on here,Really surprised she hasn't trained one for Giggy yet,I did also mention Henry De Bromhead but he's since been given some Giggy ammunition,And looks to have a real promising one in Identity Thief.

haha , I wonder if the trainer has to pay €200 if they are 5 mins late for a meeting or forget to print their own racecard

I do not think Tony would be suitable as an owner for the Brigadier's daughter.

Tony would enhance the quaility of owner ,people like yourself think they can judge a book by its cover , how wrong can one be , as a aside ..Doubt you'd be welcome at the stable door mate ..Jessie only likes good payers ...

Workrider - would you have a clue about what her rates would be (all-in) ... and would she be strict or negotiable ? Like I'd expect about 1200 p.m. and have been in touch with them before but we never mentioned a figure,

Thanks,

(that's for a good pre-trained mare I have who's either going to race or go to stud)

I'm no expert at all on this by any means but.....If it is a mare with stud in mind and you need to get a win into her, I think there could be other places better equipped to achieve this.

Jessie strikes me as a very honest campaigner and unless your mare is going to be a good 120+ kind of horse, I just can't see the sense of sending her there.

There are some other guys, real artists whom I'm certain that if a mare is only just capable of winning, they will get her that win.

Workrider please don't call me mate. You do not know the first thing about me. Unlike you I do not post my life story on a public forum.
