Some gamble on Outlander few minutes before the off. Bit of a pattern developing with horses like No more Heoroes, Milsean, Tell Us More, 2nd or 3rd string like McKinley get backed late after everyone else has played their hand.
It's a shame the other major owner in Irish racing doesn't campaign his horses in a similar fashion.
Very rare to see Giggy horses being targeted at handicap plots unlike the green and gold where the practice is ubiquitous.
I don't think betting plots (winner was well backed today is all I can see rather than a pattern of late gambles) are in anyway associated with the O'Leary's and how was McKinley well backed, morning price 25/1 and returned 33/1?

If everyone campaigned their horses like Gigginstown, (the same punters would still win) but a lot more people would bet Racing as their number one and the sport would be a lot more popular.
I think these results are more an illustration of their depth of talent rather than any dodginess.

We need more like Gigginstown and Ricci. Its a pity we dont have stewards. Racing has always been afflicted with the same problem and has been held back because of it. Its about time something is done about non-triers both in Ireland and the UK.
