Looks like a Willie Mullins benefit day in Gowran

Dicosimo has no opposition in the first.

Royal Caviar was beaten by Windsor Park in Leopardstown had Fletcher and Lean Arig behind.

Briar Hill to beat Monksland here for me was returning last time and will improve.

Railway Tommy should have won in Limerick made a mistake at the worst possible time when coming to win the race.

Djakadam is Willies pick in a race he loves,he had plenty of options will do for me.

Beginners Chase a straight match but Upsie getting 7 pound from Smashing sways it for me,definitely blew up in Limerick so better than that bare form.

Stone Hard looked a serious horse in Fairyhouse has only his stable companion to beat.
Patrick versus Aubrey only one winner.

I have given Willie Mullins a six timer,he has no runner in the handicap hurdle.

Agree with most, the only doubt ...is Briar Hill the same horse after his injury, Ruby picking it would say yes but still a doubt for me

Dicosimo drifts like a barge yet wins - wonder what they were worried about - might have found out if verrayn didn't fall

High class card @ Gowran today, surprising there's not a bit more chat on here about it. Would agree with the selections above apart from Briar Hill. As mr topnotch mentions the doubts about his return from injury, I think there is also serious doubt about the horses he beat last year. None of them have come out and done anything this year. Big question marks about it imo. His champ bumper form is good but that doesn't always transfer over flights.

2 I like today are:

Dick Dundee 2.45 11/1
One crucial bit of form that he has is his second @ wexford. 4 well handicapped horses imo and this fella obviously has a much lower mark over hurdles than fences.

My Murphy 3.15 20/1

High class stayer who could still be a bit ahead of his mark. Ran a cracker on his first run back on the troytown and slow pace wouldn't have suited last time in the paddy power.

Good luck.

A lot of short ones today but digging deep to find an alternative bets in different market .Gowran never a happy hunting ground for me.

In the 3 .45 looks a straight match between Smashing and Upsie which it is ... after that they look a pretty ordinary bunch but one horse that caught my eye when he last ran in Thurles a year ago is Inis Rock .... has been off the track since then which is a worry  but think i might chance him ..... He s 8/1 without the 2 hotpots with B365 .... There seems to be a good few quid for him in the 3 place betting with powers being steadily backed from 7/1 to 100/30 in the last hour .... Won t get near the front 2 all things being equal but if fit to go can beat the rest at a price.

Railway Tommy seems to be drifting like a barge in the 2.45 and is out to 9/1 !! ... Just 2 big a price for me and you d have to back it .... Beat Rough Justice and Shemshal  in a heavy ground bumper and was contesting its first handicap hurdle the last day when 2 nd over 2 mile 4 ....missed the last aswell which may have cost him .... wide open but at that price has to be backed

As usual you could make a case for plenty in the Thyestes ... Ruby sounded bullish if Djakadem can settle .... going to chance The Job is right 12/1 .... Would have preferred if he was coming straight from the Paddy Power to here and hope the exersions of his win in Punchestown after won t have takenb a lot out of him

he did indeed frank, the winner was different class. He'll get another few pounds added on for that which will make it more difficult to land one of those big pots. He is a high class animal though.

That bumper winner looked pretty special. They went very hard early doors considering conditions. The yoke that forced the pace with him finished dead. Giggs dont plan around the Chelt bumper, so unlikely to be seen there. But one senses he will be there next year, and possibly for quite a few after that too.
