Betfair should really act, one poster is encouraging all this and bf should act and have a word.

They do cause a lot of divisiveness tbf. Is it not an unwritten rule that religion and politics are not discussed on a pub and for good reason.

I know Borneo's retort is that we don't have to read them,  but sure we are all ludomaniacs for feck sake and it not as if we are strong on willpower!

It would be interesting if we tried a blanket ban on such threads for a month to see if the atmosphere in the place improved.

We had yourself telling us what a grand bunch of lads the muslims were for the last how long Oz,they are proving to be anything but in fairness.

practically none.

I really have no interest on ramming my views on Muslims, or any other sort of politics or religion down peoples throat on a daily bass.

And is it not far to say, Pa, that such threads were not commonplace before the arrival of your Commander?

Your defense of them has been staunch, you can always say nothing on politics threads but some care deeply for their country and future generations and are voicing their concerns and is there anything wrong with that.

My defence of ordinary Muslims has always been consistent, as has my condemnation of Fundamentalist Muslims.

Pa, your prejudiced and skewed views were highlighted in a review you did of' Angry, White and proud'.

From an hour long programme that mostly showed the groteseque lampoonig of a bunch of disaffected, frustrated football hooligans wearing 'F*ck Islam' badge and looking to taunt and incite violence, they only thing you highlighted form the show was a 5 second clip where someone in a highly charged situation retorted 'Your daughters will be Muslim'.  Fair enough, it was pretty sick to hear, but the fact that you failed to present it in any sort of balanced way, gave away your agenda.

You maintain Choudrey is a "bit player" he is anything but, yeah the badges really didn,t mean a lot to me, the boast of sharia law will be in place sooner rather than later was a lot more important to me and highlighted the muslim leaders agenda perfectly. There is no balance, muslims will follow their leaders.

Did I say he was a 'bit player'?  I said he wasn't an Imam as Borneo had incorrectly described him as.

What you should do is try and join up with these football louts, Pa, defend your country.

Yes you did,you said he had little support amongst British muslims, for someone that describes himself as "Anglo-Irish" (wtf) your mongrel traits won,t even admit to allegiance to any country.

Why do you quote me as saying "bit part" player and go on to admit I didn't actually say that at all.  No wonder you never made it to Inter Cert level.

I am a post-Nationalist, pa.  I judge the man not by the passport he happens to carry.  Nor by his colour or creed or religion or sexual orientation.  I judge the man.

In 1925, when the Irish Free State was poised to outlaw divorce, the poet W. B. **** delivered a famous eulogy on the Anglo-Irish in the Free State's Senate:

I think it is tragic that within three years of this country gaining its independence we should be discussing a measure which a minority of this nation considers to be grossly oppressive. I am proud to consider myself a typical man of that minority. We against whom you have done this thing, are no petty people. We are one of the great stocks of Europe. We are the people of Burke; we are the people of Grattan; we are the people of Swift, the people of Emmet, the people of Parnell. We have created the most of the modern literature of this country. We have created the best of its political intelligence.

Very nice, your buddies on the Man Utd thread would have been fierce impressed altogether with that after you told them you were "Anglo-Irish".

don't be daft, there's less than a handful of them even capable of understanding the term.

Now Patrick, if we are done, I have to adjourn for luncheon.  Suggest you do the same.  Treat yourself, man.

Nice to see your concern about the state of the forum rock but It is becoming increasingly clear to anyone on here with an ounce of common sense that the betfair moderators should be taking steps in reporting yourself to the local health service and quite possibly have ye sectioned under the mental health act 2008 and the way the d`ozy one has been behaving lately he mighnt be to far behind the men in the white coats when they come to escort ye off the forum....that is all

Dickie my eyes are hurting reading nonsense, so with that let me introduce you to the full stop (.) and the comma (,) my friend, these are both called punctuation marks and should be used when you trying to construct a sentence that people can read. It shows a basic lack of any intellect and a serious amount of ignorance on your behalf when you post something like the above and expect me to try and read it. If you want i'm leaving the office now, so have another go and if you fail again i will correct it for you when i'm home, later amigo.
