Was involved in an enjoyable tete a tete on the United forum, banter that goes back years, when who pops up only Wonks, out of the blue to stick his oar in with the following contribution;

Set a trap for him ,took ages before I could get him to answer the relevent questions ..The first hint was he thought G Best was the best player in the world , now you don't hear to many guys in their 40 or even 50s talk about George , Second hint was he spoke about the troubles , normally Irish people mean the 70s when they talk about them , said he worked with people in England during the troubles , ok lets say that even allowing for the troubles to have ended in 1985 which was the last time anything of significene took place their , finally he said he went to Uni till he was 25/26 ,so lets say he got a job straight away after leaving Uni , that would make him 56 at the very least , and as they say in racing thats giving him ALL the allowences.. Min of 62 would be my guess...

Ozy has continually called me a racist and accused me of anti Irish sentiments yet when challenged has been unable to give any proof. He has accused me of having an ex squaddie mentality towards the Irish when time and time again it has been pointed out to him that I served in the American Navy on a submarine, while we used to sneak about I don't recall us patrolling Falls Road ! Oz I don't like you NOT because of your nationality but because your a complete cu nt ! Not only are not liked on the English thread but also it is abundantly clear you are not liked in your own country.
