Its a complicated transaction wonks..... far too complicated for a long term scrounger like yourself.....I'd explain it to you only I haven't all night....

WR, I can only speak for myself, but if I was backing one at 8-1, it would mean I made it a 6-1 shot or less myself. To be backing it at 4-1, I would have wanted to make it 3-1 or less myself. The situations where you would correctly price one up at 3-1 or less, and be offered 8s are unfortunately very rare.
Therefore to back something you made about a 5-1/11-2 shot again at 4-1, just because others were doing same, would be a quick way to the poor house imo. If you keep backing 11-2 shots at 8-1....you will win money. Simple. If you keep backing 11-2 shots at 4-1, you most certainly wont. From talking to people on here, you would seem a decent individual, but of late all you have embroiled yourself in is tit for tat with people who are merely playing you for entertainment. Tis entertainment for the likes of myself on the sidelines, but hardly any fun for yourself? Its obvious Snap does receive decent info. Why not just accept that? I didn't play todays yoke, as said earlier I missed the price. I certainly wouldn't have backed it 4-1/9-2. But it done what it said on the tin, and those who backed it at 8s could have had a free bet, or a small profit. |

Great post.
I got on at an ok price and laid off before the off, no reason to lie. Obviously it was up against a lot of unexposed horses who could be anything and its profile suggested it wasn't easy to win with.. I mean who wouldn't lay off for a free bet given that the price had almost halved? |

Callit I have respect for yourself as a punter , you seem to have a soft spot for snap ,you rush to his defence most days , I don't know your relationship with him nor do i want to know , but in these cases which i might add and becoming more and more regular i feel it only right to open peoples eyes to the possibitly of what MIGHT be going on here ...I wont debate the rights and wrongs of your argument below , as it up to each individual on here if they want to back these tips ..What I don't like is this act of , I layed it off after the thing gets beat etc , The info he has been blasting out over a period of time from the same stable now seems to be costing the Trainer in question dear ..Even the last winner he put up from that stable has been removed from the yard ..I 'd say owners are not to happy that their inside info is been given out on a forum ..Finally Callit , I can assure you I am one of the biggest takers on here when it suits ,so I am well aware of ENTERTAINMENT value....

I can assure you I am one of the biggest takers on here
That could be construed a few ways WR....I thought you slagged Ozy for such behaviour ![]() I would very much doubt anyone has taken Snaps posts these past few days as serious. If they have, then they should do something else with themselves and their money. I would very much doubt the info he is providing to his 'followers', and what he is actually backing himself has contained much of what he has put up here. Again, its entertainment...and when people keep biting.... And as for my relationship with Snap, well all I will say is, that I am not the taker ![]() |

Did wonks just make the assumption that I tipped Danas present on here the other day in a match bet, that she was taken out of the yard as a result...!?
Having a right aul laugh here, you couldn't make it up! |

Callit the word Piss was missing ,This seems to be a win win situation for snap.. If the thingshe puts up wins hes a great tipster and will crow about it for ages , if it loses , ah sure it was only a joke , or we can even trow in the , I laid it in running for a profit ..So long as its only jesting thats fine , just why would you want to take the piss out of the gullible on here , So funs fun , but this is a little weariesome to say the least ,delighted the PENSIONER Ozy is still willing chance his few shilling on these tips , sets a new light on the subject ...

a few people are getting rather excited by the fact the horse snap "tipped" today went from 7/1-4/1.so what?? it hapens many times daily on weak midweak markets.this certainly doesnt provide concrete evidence or evidence of any sort that snap is party to any information as some would suggest! to be honest im a bit shocked that some people whos opinions i would respect seem to be endorsing this clown!!
and remember this snap never advised the horse as a TRADE he simply said he was laying his bet in-running to cover his own back if it got beat! also find it hard to understand how "the mother of all naps" is also an in running lay. if snap had any sort of clue the horses price would contract pre-race he would have said get on at the 8's and lay off BEFORE the off for a bet to nothing, simple!! like snap ![]() |

Having been out most of the day , only watched the race now , only one thing remains to be said and that is . Snap , whoever is giving you that infomation , PAY HIM OFF and save yoursely a FORTUNE ...

I'm far from excited inside, merely stating a point that topping up on a yoke at 4-1, that you thought was a good price at 8-1 makes no sense.
Also, the mere traffic on Snaps threads, and the amount of PMs I can only imagine he is getting looking for the info, suggests there are quite a few who consider it worthwhile. Unlike something say Kingrat would put up, which would be about as much use to anyone as Bryllcream to Michael Van Gerwen. Personally there is only one persons advice I would follow blind on racing. Quite ironic that he too was ridiculed by some gob sh!tes on here at the time. If they had half his knack of finding winners, or the profit from it, they would happier chaps. |
|
By:
would be..
|
|
By:
By right there should be traffic lights or something on the treads callit to cope with the constant bombardment
|
|
By:
Callit , Snap might have info , but if anyone is gullible enough to PAY him for it they want their HEAD examined ..No professional punter would go on with the nonsense he does , and tbh honest I'm starting to get worried with your NEED to PROVE him right , as a punter be honest now ...What does a NAP signify to you...
|
|
By:
callit,im certainly not advocating topping up at 4/1 after backing at 8/1 but snaps makes his posts so ambiguous so that he can come on post race and claim to have won whatever the result!

Peter O'Hehir is well clued up when it comes to "naps!"

I find that very funny Slickster

I wouldn't see anything I wrote as a need to prove him right, quite simply stating what you wrote in the OP to be wrong, or at the very least a much flawed method of gambling.
I don't pay anyone for any information I receive, and nor will I. Inside he is having a laugh. What I find worrying as WR says, is that people cant see this and are getting upset about it. I always thought Oz was the best fisherman on here, but Snap is giving him a good run with his 'catch' of the last few days. Frank, I think its very hard to disagree with the first line, the threads obviously have a huge volume of traffic, that is there for all to see. And from past 'tips' through the PM method of delivery, it can be proven from the amount of replies pre/post race, that indeed many have requested the 'info'. As for the second line....I suppose he might have a hairy undercarriage and choose to doll it up!! A Nap would be my best bet WR. I cant speak for Snap, but if his bet was the horse would shorten, well then his 'Nap' delivered. |
|
By:
All right lads hands up who backed Snaps naps in the last few days, BE HONEST
|
|
By:
Then why post a get out clause , I'll answer that for you , it then becomes a win win situation ..Snap is whatever you say he is , but for me he's someone trying it on ,and if enough fish bite it adds up to a lot of dosh ..I'll repeat myself ,be careful dealing with these lads , thats for those thinking they might have a go , its classic nab em in ,feed them enogh and you're sure to hit the bullseye once ..Then wait for the , my tipping line is filling up very quickly and if you want fauther info I'm afraid its going to cost you from now on ...

you had an even money winner you pillock! it was 7/4 last nite, just another case of you picking a random fav which has already been well backed and saying "this will win" or some other childish b0llix..still a long way to go to get into profit on your recent "tips"
|
|
By:
Someone's a little grumpy this evening! Lol! You needn't worry about the price either, as the inner circle all got the value, rest assured.

The only inner circle snap , is you pacing the shop floor hoping this comes up ..Who in their right mind needs that kind of help to pick a 5/4 shot , what price have you increased your tipping line to , after this Monster priced winner...
