Though Ronnie is obviously the most likely winner, and I may still get involved at the 7-4, a cracking bet for me here is John Higgins e.w at 50-1.

JH fell out of love with the game for quite a period, but has been practising as much as ever of late, and there was distinct signs of past form at the UK. Up against an out of sorts Mark Allen in round one, there could still be a big one in the Scot. And this could be it. Definitely worth a tenner of anyones money.

6-4 against Allen is a great bet imo.

Over 9.5 frames in tonights bout between Fu and Bingham is a cracking bet at 11-10. Two players who like to let their opponents back into matches, and have difficulty clinching, it looks sure to be tight. Has 6-5 written all over it. 6-4 will do just fine!!

Nice one frank I was wide of the mark there. Trump had his chances earlier from what I saw should have been 3 up. Maguire looked fresh must have kept his cool today.

Boyles giving money back if beaten in final frame in semis today. They top price on Ronnie at 8-15.

Basically Robbo has to beat him 6-4 or better for the bet to be a loser. Therefore, its 8-15(good price) to collect, and about 4-1 to be a losing docket.

Its only for 25 quid, but its the price of a pint or two, for less risk than normal. Or you could bring the wife, the kids, the neighbours, and a few jippoes watching the virtual to write out a few dockets for you, and get a chaser with the pints aswell!!

Shame Allen didn't play like he did against Perry, against JH. JH be in semis now, amd the form he was in would have every chance of toppling Murphy.

Poor selections Pre Fat, but tis good to have an opinion before the event. You should give it a whirl once in a while.

Still aggrieved JH didnt topple MA. The 50s e.w meant 25s to reach final. It would have worked out as an 8-1 shot as things unfolded.

I may back Robbo tomorrow Pre Fat...if you wanna have you load on Murph!
