A good cardigan is an underrated piece of apparal, it speaks to experience, a cool hand and not giving a **** what anyone else thinks!! You'd want a good pair of shoes with it though, real good.

Best pair I ever had were hand made by Alden of New England. The leather of a young horse, I believe. Salesman told me they would last me a lifetime, and it was looking like he was right till Cathay Pacific lost them on the first day the new Hong Kong Airport opened at Chek Lap Kok 'Trainers' with jeans as favoured by the youth of today, is a horrendous look. |

Not at that level yet Ozy, but bad shoes are definitely something you'd take a slagging for.
Never liked the shirt and jeans look myself either. Trainers with jeans past the age of 21 is a real no no. Jeans with a T-Shirt but I'd find I only wear T-shirts playing 5-a-side or maybe on a summer afternoon having a pint. |
