For 9/4 on Leap Dearg, looks as if he should be 5/4-6/4 to me.

Handicapper hasn't exactly missed this one
Report pa lapsy January 3, 2015 10:12 PM GMT
No,but he is a fine big old fashioned type, weight won't bother him, still improving as Tyner on record as saying he was weak last year.
Report dj876 January 3, 2015 10:13 PM GMT
If you hit the max stake button there PA,what is the max you can get on in this instance with PP?
Report pa lapsy January 3, 2015 10:16 PM GMT
E650.50 stake.
Report kavvie January 3, 2015 10:30 PM GMT
i just tried mine there for the crack..33e!!..sad crowd   and i won fcuk all off them ever on line
Report callitasucit January 4, 2015 12:02 AM GMT
Avoid hitting that max stake button. It alerts the traders all the quicker, and results in accounts being monitored more closely than they might otherwise be.

Report pa lapsy January 4, 2015 2:09 PM GMT

WD PA,

Tyner certainly gets them well in and that's a Charles Byrnes/AJ Martin sequence up 26 lbs for two wins and obliges snug enough despite making a horlocks of the last.

Some improvement on his beginners chase at Cork when beaten off levels by Western Council, hammered that rival at Naas giving him 10lbs and that was of 97,wins today of 123.
Report luckyme January 4, 2015 3:25 PM GMT

Rare for me to find a winner last few weeks snap

Nothing wonderful about that

But

Thread has a 100% strike rate

Now that's a rarity!
Report wildmanfromborneo January 4, 2015 11:18 PM GMT
Snap states " well done Pa whats rare is wonderful " proving that a lack of booms or a dearth of crowing makes the boomers and crowers think there aren't winners being given.

Pa Lapsy is on as long a winning streak as I've ever seen,he is as constant as the Northern Star in the winners department.

The drift was caused by the bad run of Pulled Mussel in Mallow plus a few point to pointers returning with running noses.
Tyner is a great trainer of chasers.
Report kavvie January 4, 2015 11:19 PM GMT
pa is consistently tipping winners here.fair dues pa,..

Well done Pa, your form analysis is excellent but your ability to spot value is even better.
Report snap crackle and pop January 5, 2015 10:55 AM GMT
How exactly did he spot value? He said it should be a 5/4 or 6/4 shot and is returned at 5/2 and nearer 3/1 on here

How do you make sense? He stated that the horse was overpriced by the market in his view. This was backed up by the horses performance and he won like much the best horse in the race. Did you not aftertime Tyner's mare (even tongue in cheek) saying there was 4/5 available on a 1/4 shot?
Report pa lapsy January 5, 2015 11:16 AM GMT
I don't know how that horse drifted out,Wildman gave a few reasons which may have some bearing, someone had a right cut laying him, really think the market was manipulated to an extent, backed on the exchanges at 2.7ish and cut by the books to a general 6/4 most of the day,it was savage laying late and mostly 4 figures were in the lay boxes.I,m not bothered by it now.
"Value" is shown by The Gotchee in the "Dundalk thread" well worth a look by yourself Snap, you could learn something.
Todays bet is also in the newspaper Rocket,i expect it to win as well, so congrats to ya in advance.
Report snap crackle and pop January 5, 2015 11:36 AM GMT
Tell the king, fact of the matter is, that he did in fact not spot value as the sp was greater than 9/4
Report pa lapsy January 5, 2015 11:58 AM GMT
I did get 5/2 with the book, took 2.9 on the exch as well and was deep enough in i didn,t take any of the later higher prices. I freely admit it wasn,t one of my better attempts with the price, then again with the stable concerned if left till later i,m not sure how i would have reacted to that drift.
How have your own selections you put up pre-race lately fared in regards price?
No mention of the "Dundalk" thread by you,few things with it,The Gotchee put up what he fancied in a lovely understated manner, also he is prepared to talk to you as a person rather than with the cheap snipes which is now what is the "irish forum" in general, so be it.
Report TellTheKing January 5, 2015 12:46 PM GMT
I am afraid I still don't understand your logic. He stated a horse was overpriced at the highest prevailing early price (9/4).

The drift, possibly based on rumours of sickness in the yard, caused a further market distortion. It's not Pa's fault the market was inefficient and skewed by rumours in the face of logic (i.e. Form). In fact his only fault is probably not driving on again near the off to capitalise on the price. There is much truth in the adage of "the bigger the price the more you have on" assuming you have no concrete reason to question a drift.

There's plenty of tripe talked on here but Snap your input to this thread is complete rope.
Report snap crackle and pop January 5, 2015 4:34 PM GMT
Pa if I recall correctly it was your good self who made one of the cheapest snipes of all after a selection I put up got turned over if memory serves...
Report pa lapsy January 5, 2015 4:45 PM GMT
Very correct,it was on one of your nonsense fill your boots/z(?) guff threads, the horse at least doubled in price,it was a sad attempt to promote your "tipping line" you were planning on setting up.
I'll ask you the question again;
How have your pre race selections lately fared with price?
No problem with me digging them up,they are very funny.
Report Ozymandius January 5, 2015 4:47 PM GMT
Pa 'Cheap Snipe' Lapsy danced a jig once when a team I backed conceded late on.  Very two faced of him to be condemning such behaviour in others.

I did advise backing Ando last nite, did you listen?  Coming on the back of my recommendation of Leinster +6 on rugby forum at the w/e.  I make that 2/2 since the New Year.

I've never seen a decent contribution from either of them. All they do is gang up on decent posters who consistently show a profit.
Keep up the good work pa your knowledge is admired by many.
