End of the year card , but not too bad considering ..Three that take my fancy tomorrow are...
The job is right , not sure he'll make the line up after his excertins the other day ,but if lining up sure to run a big race ...Hes been compeating at a higher level than most of these , and is very consistant ..Some very smart form as a hurdler as well , he seems equally at home over fences and at the price he's the value ..Fav is a horrible looker ,had a look at Thurles and was not impressed , step up in trip not sure to be in its favor either ...
Second of my fancies is Bog Warrior , on his day a real smart fellow , if anyway near his best should win ..Going and trip no problem only worry is fitness ..The way Martins are running the stable cat woud win ...
Finally Bonny Kate in the bumper ..Two very good runs already in the bag ,and the step up in distance sure to suit ,in what is in fairness a reasonabley weak affair this should win ..Again from a stable going well...Good luck all punters...

Like Bog Warrior as well,I'd be concerned if they turn out The Job Is Right so soon but heck I'm no expert on recovery times.

Any horse that finishes 5 lengths second to Faugheen over hurdles deserves a bit of respect over fences. The Job Is Right who ran a cracker in the Paddy Power Chase the other day will take all the beating in the first.

Blackmail for a quiet time of it here en route to the Coral Cup maybe lads? If Bog Warrior is right, he'll surely account for these as only the stablemate has his talent really. There's got to be at least a 50% chance he'll be ready so that makes 2/1 look fair enough to me.
Saw Callit mention The Tullow Tank for Coral Cup as well, but I think of a few runs Dunguib had back after a long layoff, but then he was very good originally. The good horse over in Skeltons is doing okay but not sure what he's beating. Maybe The Tullow Tank who always had an attritional style has just been in one scrap too many even though his races have been spaced out. Maybe thgere was juice involved, horse to avoid now, probably. Un Atout for the Novices handicap on the first day of the festival if they can get him back and a win under his belt? Or is he done as well? From the same beginners Balbir Du Mathin of Gordon Elliot's for the 4 miler, seems to have one good gear without picking up much. |

Going to have one monster play today.... The final one of the year....both wonky and the gobshee have put up bobby Kate in the bumper ....and that's the signal for an all in lay ....there is no need for form books ratings or any of that rubbish.... Just keep pressing the pink button until the balance is zero.....

Think Jennies Jewel will win today. Fit and trip and ground ok plus getting a nice bit of weight from the field. Bog Warrior will probably win if right but off a while and I will take my chances.

I wouldn't be the biggest fan of backing favs in handicaps but both of these are even money shots imo. A score double will cover tonight's porter. |

I agree with you winsamsoon about Federici. 2/1 with coral looks very big. The step back to two miles will suit him also imo. Not much else with the same level of form as him, maybe the parishioner will be the one to give him most to do.

12:45 As de Ferbet could be anything but still has it all to prove and is no value. I like the job is right but cant have a horse 4 days after such a gruelling run. Value lies with the bosses cousin who has a good level of form when it completes. In recognition of the poor completion record and the fact that elbows is in the saddle i would take the 7/2 with PP with money back special if faller.
1:45 Bog Warrior is obviously very brittle but would carry these on his back at his best. I think he will be ready first time up given how hard he is to keep sound. Still given the unknowns 13/8 is very short. 3:45 Bonny Kate ran well last time but has different conditions today so could be worth taking on given its previous form on soft. Dark Sunshine won what seems to have been a well contested point so at 9/2 will do for me. |
