Anyone here use them? Looking at the 12.50 Ludlow see they are very much the same prices as on here(smarkets),only difference is they are 2% commission, don't know what they are like for Irish racing but will look at their markets midweek. Matchbook don't do horses but their golf market was fairly robust this week, their commission ratesw are 1% on your stake on losing bets and the same on your winnings. Both are very competitively priced with their commission structures, are they worth a go?
In my experience with smarkets as soon as you try to say back a horse at the price available, it disappears. I know that can happen on here at times, it seems to be fairly permanent there. Perhaps not in the immediate run up to the race, but, say, in the morning of.

Thanks Ozy, ghost money and no actual layer,i'd find that frustrating. Matchbook are introducing horses early next year which i think could possibly be a serious rival to BF,wondering are people leaving here, forums, markets are going very quiet or maybe just a natural possible downturn in sports betting generally, don't know.

generally the bf sportsbooks prices are tight enough but not as tight as say lads or the like.i find them good if your doing ew multiples you have the bpg facility.other than that they will refuse you a biggish bet just like the rest..

Surprised you still get BOG on the Sportsbook, Kavie, or any hoss bet for that matter. I wouldn't be much of a punter, for the most part only a guesser where the 'osses are concerned and in small amounts...and yet they have shackled me as if i were something of a guru. I can't make heard nor tail of it.

i dont use it that often.im severely restricted by the lot of them and i dont think its my skill as a punter or my winnings thats the reason, its a puzzler.i tried to have a 25e trixie last week with willie hill on football bets.they offered me a 2.14 unit bet(total 8.56) laughable really.i can still get as much as i need on cash bets in offices but im not sure how long that will last either..

Must have a look , unaware till now . Someone had a thread about B/F sportsbook a while back , I had only used them sparingly , but found them OK for a while , particularly as they were BOG . However I dropped onto a winner overnight last week , got laid to win £400 , then was told to back it on Betfair .
Horse won , since then they are restricting me to their exposure of £10 . Looks like just another bookie operation shutting any door which backs a winner for any money .
Recently our local Ladcrooks have gone BOG on all bets in their 12-- 1 happy hour . Can work to advantage .

I think i have an account from years back, they changed hands, they were geared towards the American market and then got out of it, they are owned by a huge British gambler who also has a major sports betting syndicate in London and imo your money would be safe.

I use Smarkets, mainly for soccer. Liquidity very good on decent events but prices are exactly those on here (but with 2% commission)
I'm a small player but as said above there could be 10k on the back/lay side, I'd only be punting 50-100 quid but often the cash disappears as soon as you take even a small bite
They do the odd offer, were commission free on the first 2 England Group Games in the WC
Matchbook only charge 0.5% on asian handicaps (but you pay on losing bets so effectively 1%)
Pinnacle/SBO bet to 101.5% and 101.25% respectively on Asian Handicaps so are also worth keeping an eye on

I wont do many multiples, those i do place are with BOG only..
It is the great robbery otherwise..
The 1% on losing bets/stake would be a blocker for sure if a trader, as i am mostly.
My betting has changed dramatically in terms of method over the last 5 years.
