I'm not sure about this sport but have to acknowledge that five world championships in a row is some achievement.

Shane Lowry rising to number 47 in the world with its invitations another pleasing aspect of the weekend.

Danny Benson getting a super jump at the last hurdle on Pencilhimin kind of ruined it for me but still good weekend for Irish Sport.

a smashing ride from a lad thats going places , the roar of the crowd got stuck in their throats as they realized danny was not for passing ...a brilliant front ride , he left something in the tank and his horse was a willing partner...

Ruby got a bit of a land there, say he was full sure he had him covered, can imagine that roar going to a whisper.
The "green" in that race was worn by The Crafty Butcher",not for the first time he kept on well at the finish after he looked very outpaced just before turning in. Funny thing about it he has done very well over 2 miles this year, yesterdays run would say he has no problems getting an extreme distance. Not yet rated over chases not sure the handicapper could be too harsh on his nose beating of Time Please. Certainly looks to me as if a big 3m chase is well within him and maybe a sequence.

Yeah Paulie, connections would love that scalp though not sure they will wait til then,he'd stay an Irish National i think as well. What mark do you give him? On the Mallow and even Killarney somewhere between 115-120 looks right though not too far off 140 over hurdles.
Might go across channel as well for something as D O'R got a spin on him.Good game by foxy Hourigan.
Space Cadet had a very promising intro as well in the opener, might be a horse for the Irish forum to follow.

Much lower hurdle mark compared to his chase mark,i'd be pretty sure wildman has a few sheckles on.
