The Willie Mullins Winter roadshow moves to Fairyhouse today .... 9 winners since Saturday ominous for the months ahead !!! ... First 3 races all winnable for him again today and Gigginstown have taken out the elliot one in the bumper which might be a tip in itself for his first time out one Arkwrisht ... As Lapsy flagged up in another thread he had a huge amount of top entries for this.
Barney O Hare has been prone to try land a few doubles in his time and could be up to the same tricks again with Bank Man 2.05 and Special Bar 2.35 .
I thought It s High Time 1.20 Hexham could beat the favourite .....looked very good first time over hurdles around the track a few weeks ago . I historically like to follow cheltenham bumper form in first season novices and this fella ran a very creditable 8th .....
So we ll see how the Willie and Barney show goes today !!!! Good Luck
Afternoon Dingle, tis scary stuff alright, you can imagine block entries of a dozen or so for some of Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Betting went towards Mullins in the first in the last few minutes. Best of luck with your picks>

Left the race alone myself Tony,i do like her but ran poorly after breaks before, Triplets Joys 2nd to Mrs Mc Veale looks good after yesterday, and Mallards in Flight also ran well last time, O'Hare has one in it as well. Trappy i thought Tony. An in by the wall place on Blue Bicycle in the next my only bet today,GL.

Big fan of Tyner yard myself Tony ... Been banging in plenty of chase winners in the last few weeks ( 4 i think ) .... worry i suppose is its having its first run back and didn t show much in the past 2 seasons when having its first run .... It is a bit of a punting yard so the machine before the off will probably best tell you

Way i saw the betting in the opener was Meades was backed from roughly 3.7-2.9 and drifted out to 3.4 at the off, the "backed all morning" isn't wrong, then so was Mullins went from roughly 2.4-1.95 with 2.1/2 to odds on in the last few minutes, personally i can't make head nor tail of it,both were fancied to the exclusion of everything else.

The 15/8 for a place on Capacon looks wrong with Aengus at 3/10,Aengus would be entitled to come on for that run but it twas still only a length. Always 3rd place but probably fighting for that with Oscars wan.

Couldn't believe the place betting Tony, only a length between them last time and Capacon was slightly hampered, race worked out nearly exactly the same with them. Arkwright a lovely looking horse and travelled very well, think he will come on for that.

Arkwright, looks a dodge-pot............ that was money not well spent .......... we will see ........ but I will be surprised if he makes out to be a decent horse.

I think it was a touch disappointing easy but dodgepot?..jesus what price was he turning in..hes a big thing! also may need more time..i wouldn't write him off, and the winner is ok tbf..

Regards to betting Tony, I make an early decision on horses and I have done well with my analyzing. Trainer,Owner are top guys, but I have seen a lot of duds by these guys too. War Correspondent reminds me of one. U know this horse is going to be a short-price next time, and although I don`t touch odds-on shots singles I would advise others to do the same with this fellow. People get easily swayed by Patrick Mullins, he is a bridle jockey and is a poor jock to regards to pace went coming from behind. He has a great % riding from the front with horses firs-time out but when they are held-up forget about it the amount of horses he has failed to win on from behind is staggering. And the in-running guys who backed then are penniless. The Layers are happy. Even though he rides plenty of winners on the best horse, his hold-up tactics are very poor regards to the style he shows and the price according to the way he rides at the business end (4f-2f) and then when push comes to shove suddenly goes from 1.05 out to 100`s is quite common
Going back to this horse in question, they crawled for the first 12 furlongs, and soon the pace quicken the head went like a rocking horse, they are awful signs to see in a horse, they rarely lose that motion..

Thanks Dingle, poor day alright for him,as far as i,ve seen Livelovelaugh and Childrens List (both Ricchi) are the most touted, probably see them thrown in a few more bumpers before they run, might be right with Arkwright and mightn't be that good, not sure previous Aengus form would say he's special. Two Giggys potpots beaten now for Mullins in the last week.

Bellshill running tomorrow. I've heard he's among the best of the Mullins bumper brigade this season so it will be interesting to see how he goes. Likely danger Attribution, ran well in a Punchestown bumper and is now trained by Henry de Bromhead. This Gigginstown's first horse with HDB?
Bordini, who was just behind Bellshill in a point, looked very good at the weekend.

easy its all about opinions and you may be right, your make a fair point, i'm not one of patricks fans..the truth is if he didn't ride for his father who would he ride for?..but this horse imo can't be wrote off on one run?..I watched the race again and its obvious Patrick thought he had more left..he stopped a furlong out , after they quickened up..your right, theres a old saying..if you want to get a good horse beat go a slow pace...and as you have mentioned Patrick holding the horse up instead of making it may have been part of the reason the horse found so little,..the other is he may just be a slow..but before I write him off I,d want to see him again..as ive said you may be right..

He goes tomorrow Tony........ odds on maybe...... off the track for a while...... it will be interesting if he has progress since Fairyhouse (i.e when push comes to shove and how the head-carriage is in motion)

Well, on the basis that your right at 5.57pm (about Arkwrist "a rocking horse") I consider 4's for TUZO a great bet.
Arkwrisht (5/4), Cogryhill (4), Tuzo (4), Thatshowhedidit (6), Free Stone Hill (12), Sarwistan (12).....

I,m not backing Arkwisht Easygold(a bit short) not sure i could dismiss him as a rocking horse though,i thought he was a bit clueless when asked to go between horses and very likely would have done better that day if kept on the outside imo,an interesting watch today all the same.
