Hello forumites hope all are well ....haven t posted on here for a while said i would put up some hopefully good value selections for tomorrow although i could t back a winner to save my life today so beware !!!
1.55 Galway - Pumbaa 5/1
Really impressed with him first time up at tramore a few weeks back .Didn t beat a whole pile i know and needs to maybe run above 130 here but Jumped real well and won as it liked .Roger Quinlan could t pull him up after the winning post ..trip , ground and track could be spot on for him....connections have already been mentioning him as cheltenham material and i think they felt he was only about 85 % fit so should improve aswell ... could be the value in it
2.50 Leopardstown - Order St George 3/1
I think he can win this decent contest .....probably divided opinion with most people with regards this fella ... Was obviously blatantly stopped first time out in the maiden with John F Kennedy ( could nt be seen to be finishing ahead of the great one !! ) , looked good on soft ground winning here and i Just think he wasn t overly in love with the dips in newmarket the last day before staying on again at the finish after looking well beat ... i think the trip 1m 1f on soft ground tomorrow around here will play right into his hands ..Parish boy and zafilani will be no pushover though ....
4.35 Leopardstown - Shorana
The probable SP of 10/1 on irishracing.com could be wishful thinking if she is ready to go after her very eyecatching run on derby weekend at the curragh ( worth a look on the video ) ...By holy roman emperor shouldn t mind the slow ground , a worry obviously that the oxx 2 year olds haven t been firing .... Welds one was just off in march when weld was winning everything and the halford one keeps hitting the post but if she is right i think she could be decent .....

I would fully agree with you on Order of St. George Dingle. Looks a superb bet to me.
He's a horse that hits the ground very hard, and as such would have liked neither the ground nor the dip last time out. As you said, once back on level terrain he ran on again. He did look a bit slow that day, but 9fur on soft ground for a juvenile....slow is what you need!! I would hope Seamie sits handy, or even leads, winding it up from at least 3 out. Hard to see anything getting past him then imo. 3-1 is huge. |

A 1/6 shot beaten yesterday,hope Workrider was a layer as he was by War Front,five odds on today but think they will all win. Stellar Glow 12.40 Good first run,upped to a group race next start back into a maiden. Sir Isaac Newton. 1.10 Well bred hugely expensive will get a solo. All Hell Let Loose 1.25 Dessie Hughes is beginning to train a load of bumper winners,he used to dislike them he is far better at training maiden hurdlers,this lad one a decent Thurles bumper,well able to jump and has no opposition. Windsor Park 4.15 A winner round Galway trained by Weld with the best jockey on top. Captain Von Trappe 4.45 Trained by the in form Elliott,third in a Dromahane point to point,won his one in Dawstown,opposition looks poor and bumpers seem to go in cycles to me,all the favourites win or none,I can hardly remember the last bumper winner that got beaten. |

great write up..all the best..very hard day to find winners imo..nothing really jumps out at me anywere at a backable price..so im off to Aintree and will wait till I see them..good luck all

Hello Dingle. Was wondering why Pat Smullen didn't go that French G1 with Pale Mimosa,he must like his ones at home.
Out of form myself but Luddesdenene 2.30 at near 3/1 isn't a bad bet to me,won in a canter in a weak race last time,this doesn't look much stronger. Hopefully stays upright. Best of luck with your punts. |

A day of hitting the crossbar for me  ...Pumbaa and Order St G were well punted and a few quid for Shorona near the off ..... Wouldn t loose faith with Pumbaa think a bit of deeper ground will help there ...Order St George i thought sweated up a lot which may have come back to haunt him at the end of the race although in fairness thats the second time parish boy has beat him so he s probably the better horse and i thought Diylawa got first run on Shorona which probably was the winning and loosing of the race .....Excuses excuses i suppose ...close but no cigar day !!!! |

Brilliant golf write ups by callit all year ..... i see dubisson had a good finish overnight in Aus to finish runner up ,can see him finishing strong for the rest of the year ...
As for Sam .... That training match against Cork in July gave them great confidence .......Couldn t see anyone beating Dublin to be honest .... Backed the minors all right cracking side .... |

I thought Diylawa got first run on Shorona which probably was the winning and losing of the race

All Hell Let Loose put in a smooth performance to win as he liked in Galway’s two mile maiden hurdle.
He travelled strongly in third behind Rocky Court and Old Storm throughout. The five-year-old ranged up on the home bend and Bryan Cooper eased him to the front before the last flight. Once the pair popped that obstacle they sauntered home by seven and a half lengths to justify 3/10 favouritism for Dessie Hughes and Gigginstown House Stud. Rocky Court kept on to be second at 13/2 and First Warning, on his jumping debut, came through for third at 20/1. Bryan Cooper said: “He didn’t beat a whole pile, but he quickened well at the back of the last. He wants further in time. He was only a frame of a horse last year." All Hell Let Loose won a Thurles bumper in March. In that bumper he beat a horse back in 5th called Table Tips (who has ran in 9 bumpers with out winning any). Thought the max was 6 bumpers unless you win one ? Save me looking up the rules of racing please ? |
