I had a small bet on chelwood gate earlier, its 1-1 at the course, and has come down a further 3lbs on ground it wont hate.

i dont like inexperienced horses in handicaps so i would rather place lay the fav if i had to tbh but thats just a rule i have for handicaps and am prepared to be wrong.

the mile will be a lot more suitable for him than the trip last time and i give him a decent chance at  a double figure price.

Best of Luck ILWB, I had a few quid on the fav at 5-2. Inexperience is a worry alright, but I would be surprised if he wasn't a good bit better than his current mark in due course. And be disappointing if he couldn't exploit it today.
