Seen this today and seems to be a growing trend within GAA matches that refs are fair targets mostly at football it must be said. Hurling is a great game but we don't need it blighted by a few clowns.

It's awful, Rock. Not to mention the appalling language on the sidelines. And the over enthusiastic coaching staff, usually 4 to a team, strutting and screaming at the kids when they should just shut up and allow the kids to develop their own decision-making abilities etc.
Whenever I watch an underage game live, I can't help but laugh/cry. |

It does nto happen in Soccer or Rugby, refs are more appreciated, i would now consider hurling to my game and i think this is a rare incident for hurling but remember the ref getting attacked in the Mayo match a few weeks ago by some savage and he became a celebrity afterwards, it real backward stuff by backward people.
