Fantastic young jockey despite the odd misjudged ride and the costly Wexford weighing in incident.
By:
Once again the word Fantastic is abused dj , very good jockey would be my opinion , making some very basic errors , that FANTASTIC jockeys don't make as regularly ...
By:
In my opinion WR there is not as much difference between very good and fantastic as there is between poor and fantastic, we all get frustrated when we don't get the run of the race but in my opinion he has been extremely good (maybe even fantastic) on balance over the entire season.
By:
Kevin Manning??????????????? wow he is so over-rated??????
By:
Well ?...A horse that should have won or at least been nearer is denied by this FANTASTIC jockey , the Jamie of Irish racing...

By:
Regards to Colin Keane, has time on his side to keep down the errors........... he may ride in around 370 races get around 65 winners and have around 120 placed finishes.......... out of those 120 how many times could he have one?????? with a better positional ride. Thant`s the question you have ask......... he will improve for sure riding better horses and his confidence will grow...... but racing is 85% position and pace and I have noticed him riding that way in recent weeks so the future looks good....... and less errors will happen
By:
A great little rider,a master judge of pace.
What happened him at Wexford was unfortunate and not all his own fault,he was politely answering questions to another trainer when he passed the weigh room,no official there at all. |
By:
Workrider...... u have to move with the times........ a lot of your selections, comments, opinions are old school......
By:
Surprised at your , a master judge of pace remark Wildmanfromborneo , a very good jockey as I already said , but surely for ANY jockey to be called Great , Fantastic , he must perform to a very high standard over many years , Keane is only out of his apprenticeship and it remains to be seen if he measures up to this kind of praise over a period of time...My post was to highlight how he seems to get into poor positions on horses that should have won ..I wish the lad well , as I already said he is a very good jockey but i reserve the right to judge him over time before calling him , Great , Fantastic , re Wexford , old fashioned rules that should be amended right away , no fault attached to Colin , just antiquated rules...
By:
Lucky to get the gap when he did there , another iffy ride imo , luckily he didn't have any Great Fantastic jockeys to contend with ...
By:
Well it's easy enough when you have 15-20 pounds in hand wonks
By:
Yes Willy , could have left him in the stalls and still won ..
By:
The Clondaw Warrior ride does make your point to a certain extent.
I think he is a great rider from the front has stolen a few races this year. |
By:
I think you're being a bit pedantic WR if you read the thread objectively.
He rode the ears off Joeseph in a maiden at Gowran last week,as said previously excels when he is positive. |
By:
He was very lucky there Wildmanfromborneo , I hate knocking jockeys , God knows their life is hard enough , but I'm a little worried this lad might have got there a little to soon if you know what I mean ...
By:
He was supreme there on Thunder Zone.
Rides like a chump wins, rides like a champion gets beat such is the life of a jockey. Cost me both times. |
By:
Colin Keane is an excellent rider.....wonks ya havent a notion about any aspect of the game.......there are loads of shiite riders around but Keane isnt one of them....
By:
Have to agree with the majority regarding Keane....best apprentice i've seen for a long time....did things the right way too...didn't waste his claim.
By:
Mad Paulie thanks for your input , your intensity has its usual subtlety I see...
By:
Workrider, do you enjoy embarrassing yourself on here daily?
You moved from "How Poor is Colin Keane" to "very good jockey would be my opinion" in a matter of minutes. You are a fool, plain and simple. |
By:
Shocking poor jockey.
Huddys or one of Wonky's other pals in the real world really should have a word in his ear. They surely must find all these regurgitated "Pikey Paulie, Norma etc etc" cringeworthy and Wonky actually thinks he is great crack. An absolute buffoon is too kind a description of him. Wonkatonk if you have anything left from the rock n roll, razor wind is a moral on the bucket and sand tomorrow,5/4 with PP should be well odds on. |
By:
Ruby the bets I've put up the last few days , 2 lays that lost , a lay of Wales ,backed NEWSWORTHY today ..I make that 4 winners all verified on here ,so dont think I need ANY advice from the likes of yourself ...Stick to your more reliable stories , you KNOW the kind I mean ..RUBY RUBY RUBY....
By:
I couldn't seriously engage with you Wonky but he sooner you're back on the bottle the better, the forum might get a breather whatever about Tallaght.
When I hear them demented "fans" mindlessly regurgitating and chattering Rovers..Rovers...Rovers,I wonder why they are never capable of creating some decent chants but then I think of you and it all makes sense. |
By:
Ruby , when you get a chance reread the thread , you seem to get lost in the reading ,I said he was poor in a few races around that time ..I also said he was a good jockey rather than a fantastic one ..Try bring a little rationale to the table , and less of the one upmanship , thats why most on here dont like you ..You are a Egomanic like most of the other clowns who like to think they are smart...
By:
This thread sums up you up wonk....ya clueless buffoon.... The last good jockey you came across was when the hairy Iranian gave an exhibition in the adjoining bedroom ....
By:
See your on your high horse again dj,must be bored at home to be digging up this thread from last September, you have been in good form insulting name calling different poster over the last few nights,
By:
You were talking out of your pocket as per usual you scrounger as soon as you realised that the rest of the forum knew you were talking absolute b@llacks as per usual, you feebly attempted to backtrack.
By:
Paulie - the world is waiting.
By:
As a matter of interest Ruby , do you live in the Tallaght area , if you HEAR the fans regurgitating that a lot of the time , why dont you leave the area while the game is on ..Then come back home and enjoy the rest of the evening ..

Live in Tallaght??? Fook me I wouldn't drive through it,place is costing the country a fortune.
Rarely watch a LOI game on the box but the Rovers fans seem in a trance like state chattering Rovers...Rovers...Rovers. Must be the methadone I presume? |
By:
Wonks....please make some semblance of sense... It's embarrassing it really is...
By:
DJ ,once again you lack creedence , you DID state that you hear chants , oh dear , you've been listening to Pikey ,he hears chants ALL the time..
![]() |
By:
Check Mate,I can't respond to that lad.
By:
Night night Ruby ,took Pikey up nice and warm, and when you BOTH hear those chants ...Call the FOOKING NURSE .....
![]() |
By:
Wonks...take a break from here...it looks like you are both distressed and disorientated ....sleep it off mate....oh sorry ...good luck all punters....
By:
Pikey you should be ashamed of yourself , setting up home with the DJ fella ,what will his Mother say ...If you and him hear any chants , well you know the drill.....

By:
DJ , Thanks for that wonderful tip today ...You USELESS MUG PUNTER , for the sake of the lads on here , please stick to the slagging , its cheaper for us...
By:
DJ , licking his wounds no doubt , talks a good game , but when it comes to business end of things ,hes simply lacking ....
