Why is he so short? Wtf???? On what circumstances would anyone contemplate backing this horse at that price.

Trappy enough card but interesting racing all the same. I have had a couple of euro each way on First sitting in the concluding maiden. It doesn't look the strongest Curragh maiden to me and this Dansili colt was given way too much to do at Leopardstown. This further step up in trip should suit and at 15/2 (VC) and at 7/1 (365) appears to be overpriced.

Anyone any idea about the current weather close to the Curragh? There is apparently a fair amount of rain forecast and if the ground softens,it would definitely be cause for concern for a son of Dansili.

Curragh ground remains Good straight course and Good to Firm round course. No rain overnight and forecast dry to late afternoon.

Pa,he looked like a 10lbs claimer having his first ride compared to Joey at the distance, they must think we're blind as well as gullible...

Certainly didn't go to plan Punchestown, almost certainly would have only Kingsbarn got into a fair old state, choreographied racing with the two shoelaces tied to the other foot.

Lot's of comments around that ride there today Pa , and most in the negative , talking from my pocket as well ...Some even going as far as to say they were destroying the game ....Then the Boy wonder does and does what he's been doing most of the weekend on John Constable , he had no business going up the inner ..He should have won on Gordon as well yesterday...

I like young Joe as a person WR and think generally he is a good jock though gets the ammo, talking about yesterday i was bulling over the ride he gave The Great War,i,ve replayed it a few times and quite can't believe the first time he makes an effort is with just over half a furlong to go, what made it worse was Kevin O'Ryan saying coolmore will be delighted with that,i bet they were but no comment on lack of effort. Accept he is entitled to not get everything right given the high proportion of rides he gets.
You could almost feel Shamies discomfort today, glad they phucked up but as said Kingsbarn was in an awful state,i'd say we don't know the half of it.

I certain bookies rep was seen flying form the pre parade , and the horse took a walk in the market from 6/4 to 5/2 ...Tells its own story Pa...

Pa if you get a chance , have a look at John Constable at the 2 fur marker , and then cry your eyes out ..Should have won a mile...Off to bed , might wake up and see it win..Night...

John Constable will pick up a few little hurdle races in the UK.

Kingsbarns looked fit enough today but got very worked up in the parade ring,I thought the 5/2 was an over reaction so I backed it.

I thought Heffernan was too hard on Hall Of Mirrors should have given it a tug back, seriously though what do you expect a gelding against a talking future stallion.

John Constable is a bit of a thinker, was been driven turning in did get baulked but wouldn't have won anyway.

With regards Joseph's ride on Gordon Lord Byron,he just rode to instructions asked not to use the whip.

Just looked at video and workrider is not far off mark that it might have one,but what d'ya expect, that ejit can only ride steering jabs and thats after the (Firm)have strung them out like washing Whoops

John Constable is a stayer imo and would have won with a clear run .That was a poorish race and he is well capable of picking up one of these and should have done yesterday...
