Tony in the old days trainers hunted them off , they had to hide in the long grass in case they were spotted ..No trainer likes having a good'un spotted before he has cashed in ..I'm sure with so many horses getting loose of a morning while schooling it makes sense to have a bit of insurance ...

Think the heath is owned by Jockey Club Racecourses but doesn't help to get the public involved.
JCR should focus on trying to weed out those who try and sell "info" from gallop reports - most of which from what I've seen/heard is absolute tosh. |

Do well to know what's being galloped unless you know the lad riding, Daft idea anyway and doubtful it can be enforced.
