Personally think Cork are a cracking bet, 10-11 more than accepatble, and the evens WH are offering hard to understand. I thought they would be priced up at about 8-13/4-7 for this tussle, and fully expect them to come out on top.
The pace in attack Cork possess will unhinge even the best defence, and i just dont think Tipps forwards will be able to counteract it at the other end. The hugley overrated Lar Corbett still seems to be central to everything. I have never heard commenatators so blind to current form(or any real sustained form, apart from That 3 goals) in their analysis of a player. If 'Lar' can do this, or if 'Lar' does that. Lar has done f*ck all for years. He is talked about in the same breath as Henry Shefflin by many, and that he ain't. |

agree the pace of the cork attack is the thing that will win it for cork all things being equal. the danger for cork is if they cant handle callinan, who when hes good looks like a rolls royce but when hes bad hes like a lada .i also think if they do win hey will also have too much pace for the kilkenny backline(tyrell, delaney and hogan) so backing them now to win all ire is the play!! i also thing galway minors at 15/8 v limeick are overpriced.hard trust minors but all these young lads are playing senior championship hurling in galway..which is the highest club standard in ireland...

Tipp Tipp Tipp
Tipp have a lot more players, the like of the Mahers who are proven as top class coming back into form. I'd say Lar could be around the square today, a few lucky breaks and he's back in an all Ireland. Cork are over reliant on Horgan and 2 or 3 others. Tipp 5/4 Tipp -5 4/1 and galway 15/8 tipp double |

Cork will win handy. Double them up with Galway minors for some real juice
By:
They'ed want to move them goalposts a bit over to the the left.
By:
Cork fairly dependant on two men.....their goalie and the ref.....what a joke GAA really is....the ref trying to make it exciting from the start.....and I suppose doing his best to make it a draw.....why not have a fair game and let nature take its course.....if one team is better than the other so what.....
By:
I made Tipp 10/11, so took the prices. Could not believe Cork where Fav.
I agree with Winsam I also agree with the opener. Cork are very much a second half side and will get the dander up now. They must prevent Tipp from goals though. A draw would be no shock. |

Super GOAL..............

I hope you are right Paulie and the ref will make a draw of this.
By:

Great performance by Tipp. They'll give KK a game.
By:
Cork were awful.....the ref had to throw in the towel.....there was no way he could keep them 2 teams together.....
Reb.....id say they will give Kilkenny more than a game.....its not as if they are big outsiders.....what can they be 5/4 ish..... |
By:
Likely to be close. Hard to believe it'll be their 4th meeting in the final in last 6 years.

By:
i think ill have second thought about applying for a fulltime job as a gaa tipster!!

id love to see limerick winning an all ireland soon..i think ill do a tipp /limerick double 7th sept!!
By:
Tipperary were sensational yesterday, another performance like that will see off Kilkenny.
Bubbles just shaded the man of the match over Seamus Callanan, our own local man Bonner Maher supreme without scoring. Two notes of caution,we have yet to win a close match and Lar Corbetts legs are gone. One for the statisticians when is the last time a team won a competitive hurling match with only one free being scored. |

I thought Cork were absolutely woeful, with nine wides in the first half, only two points from Pat Horgan through the whole game. The 5 week delay and the attitude/swagger that Cork mentally approached the game was disgraceful!
Tipp did the basics very well, shot for points when the opportunity arose (unlike the tippy tappy fiddling Cork) The Tipp midfield and half back like were excellent. I fully expect Kilkenny to win the All Ireland |

adios jimmy barry!
yre all washed up! the game has moved on sport! |

![]() the tipp 1/2 back line and midfield were murdering cork from the start and gleeson was finding his man from his puck out with impunity. jimmy barry is on the side line like a dumbbell and does sfs about it until its too late. the geezer is all washed up! ![]() |
By:

Not a lot you can do off the pitch if the half forward line kept dropping the ball and the posts were in the wrong place in the early part of the match.
By:
u have obviously never played old pa,hurling or football.leave it at that m8.

By:
I did as it happens and both for the parish(the Marsh),went bedamned for a while when i was drinking age and gave up them up and also soccer and x country running, average probably but loved the hurling in particular.
Thing that struck me most was how often Cork were 1st to the ball and lost it,the forward line could nearly all have been called "Dropsy" for the day. They didn't play well at all and taking nothing from Tipp who were very good, you are telling me that JbM could have done anything to change that result? Cop on. |
By:
Pa , don't drop down to his level mate
