Mayo are 7/1 for All Ireland with pp. Yet there is over a 1000 euro waiting to be matched here on them at 11/2.

Thats a 1500 free bet for somebody if they have the money to match them and lay off on pp.

Must be a sign of some sort that its still up since yesterday.

Maybe no layers here anymore or pp won't take that type of bet off you.

Strange! Its not usual on Betfair that type of arb up so long.

True .  Took the max they would allow me on Mayo at 7/1 , and Kerry at 9/1 . Thats 7/2 your pick , dont think either of them would be 7/2 in the final .

Guess the PP oddsmaker lives in Dublin and thinks that 1/4 the Dubs outright is a steal .

I'm  hoping Donegal spike the Dubs , that would be some result !

Yeah some layed the him the 11/2 for the 1000 euro. They now have another 1000 up at 13/2 maybe its the same one back. But this time by the layer.

PP are still going 7/1 thats nearly around a 500 difference to the 13/2 punter.Sad

Just shows you Kelly your not the only one restricted with powers.

As for your 7/2 If Dublin are 1/4 now and they still have a semi-final to play against Donegal. They are surely heading for 1/6 on the Outright by the final.......

That could make the 7/2 on either Mayo or Kerry in the final look pretty low. Because at that rate if you layed Dublin 2/7 on here you might find you caused a stampede.

Dublin ! It could go tits up against Kerry if the Full back line give James o'Donoghue the same space as they gave the Cork Lads.

Spoils go 7/1 Mayo as well.

Unless this guy is the one who layed the earlier 11/2 and is now trying to trade it back at 13/2 at a quick profit, this 2nd 1000 bet for Mayo is a strange bet.

With Betfair after commission he is going to get just less than 6100

If he can get on with spoils or pp he get 7000

I guess whats a extra 900 euro when you bet in 1000s Crazy

im on mayo.i dont expect to collect.mayo were 6/1 at the start of the year.they have won all their matches.down to the last four..and mayo ,the team who ran dublin to a point in 2013 final are 7/1  hmm..

Fact is , either of Mayo or Kerry will give the Dubs a run for their money .  The 1/4 Dublin quoted by one major bookie is a joke , anyone who buys into that knows nothing about odds . Dublin are 1/10 to beat Donegal , doubling up  on semi and the final implies they would be 1/5 in the final .  Which would be nonsense .

Dublin will more than likely win, but current prices are very short. I for one would lay the boll*x out of them if they were 1-5 against Kerry in the final. I backed the Dubs at 13-8 back in March, but they have done nothing other than what they should have done since. The league match against Cork was extremely impressive late on, but Cork folded, Kerry wont. Mayo wont beat them, not in a final anyway.

I think Kerry are the only team who will go out their believing they can beat them, so for the sake of the final, I hope they get there.

And don't forget the Dublin Curse; Dublin will not win another Senior All-Ireland until Garth Brooks is allowed to play 5 consecutive concerts at Croke Park.

Look lads just lump on Dublin - I heard someguy on Newstalk on about how good they are at throwing the ball about to each other but that is because they are throwing the ball.

On top of that no Dublin player will get a card - he'll just get a pat on the back from the Ref and be told to carry on like MDM in the Leinster Final - should have got a black and a Red card between the 9 and 11th minute - pat on the back - be a good boy now - carry on

On top of that its the 46th straight game in championship that Dublin will play in Croker.

Anytime I hear the GAA going on about equality I just laugh.

Dublin have no chance. The ref is a culchie, the linesmen are culchies, the umpires are culchies and Dublin have played 45 Championship matches away from their home pitch.

Mayo had their victory in the 1/4 finals and then went out on the beer celebrating, I wonder if the Dublin players were on the lash Saturday night after their victory over Monaghan

having a few pints after a match is standard practice even in these times..the soccer boys often have a drink the wed night of a saturday international?..if they are fit itl do them no harm..mayo havent a game for a least 3 weeks after the monaghan game..

The fact Dublin are such incredibly strong favourites to win the A.I. pre s/f stage, is likely to have some negative psychological impact on their players. Donegal and Mayo/Kerry haven't suddenly arrived on the scene and will relish the fact that they are being completely written off before facing the Dubs.

I've seen it so many times before....

And now the Dubs have their favourite Ref on Duty for their first real match of the year. I wonder who refs their training matches now McQuillen was told that's a No No. ?  They must miss him after he reffed all their matches last year.

I suppose if everything was in mayo's favour I wouldn't want it to change either but someday the people will ask themselves do they really want to spend 30 euro to see their team get hammered or give a hammering - the answer to that could be interesting

I would say that, their own county affiliation aside, most of the GAA hierarchy at this stage, would have a preference for seeing Mayo winning a senior football All Irel(assuming,of course, they're good enough to do so).

I think they are good enough to have already have 2 in the bag but were let down by the tactics decided on the sideline tbh. But Dublin might just have improved too much this year.

horan is feeling the pressure imo.he didn't shake hands with cuthbert after the cork game.(unacceptable in my view)he made a big f**king deal about the cork lad's gamesmanship before the game.get real horan!
the kerry boys will have noticed that.they will go about their work quietly and prepare.come the 24th,they will be calm with a sense of purpose.

mayo are no further behind dublin than they were this time last year yet they went into last years final level in the betting , mayo did not play well (again ) but lost by 1 point yet the headlines were dublin to rule for the next decade LaughLaugh, 1/5 shots dont make me Laugh

The Dubs play an exciting brand of football but I think the whole country bar Kerry and Dublin would like to see Mayo win a deserved All Ireland but you get the feeling the Dublin reserves would have an All Ireland in them.

I am a Kildare man, and have spent my life being 'anti Dublin', and cheering for whoever played them. But this team just have to be admired, they are unbelievably good. I hope to see a Kerry v Dublin final, but if it was Mayo v Dublin, I for one would be supporting the boys in blue. I admire the best in any sport, and have little time for bottlers, and Mayo have had their chances and consistently fluffed their lines. They have got what they deserved. If they finally show a bit of bottle and take down Kerry and Dublin, then all credit to them. Recent history would suggest that is very doubtful.

Like callit I appreciate class no matter which shirt or county they represent .  This Dubs side are good to watch , playing fast open football in an athletic fashion .  That does not mean they are unbeatable , they have 2 key players and an as yet unexploited potential problem . Any team who dials into these 3 factors could upset them , as I am not sure they have a plan B ( in fairness they have not needed a plan B so far this last 12 months or more ) .

Mayo and Kerry are good teams , in the last 10 years or so either team would be fav for the All-Ireland based on their play to date .  That someone rates them 7/1 and 9/1 to win an All-Ireland at semi final stage is a tribute of some sort to the Dubs .

Kerry were 1/3 the first time Down turned up , cant remember the odds that Kerry were in 1981 vs Offaly .  Both were beaten .  The third Sunday in September is a special day , results dont always follow the perceived form lines .

You were a brave man kavvie having that bet , nice winnings . I was probably there in 1982 at Tralee , used to be a must every year that week in Kerry , and the races were part of that .  All changed now , every time I drive near the racecourse the memories flood back , and my teeth gnash a bit !

Might have mixed up that year , ruined Kerry's charge , those Lowry guys have to answer for that , but I do support Shane , hoping he keeps progressing .

offaly were 10/1 at start of 82 so 5/1 seemed value in the final..(bit like mayo who were 6/1 at start of year and are 7/1 now at semi final stage!?)...it was a shame and a scandal that tralee closed..was a lovely setting for a race track.(still is)..i remember on day dk weld had 6 winners ridden by walter swinburns father wally..i backed them all.thought the game was easy that evening!!

I remember hawkers selling "Kerry 5-in-a-row" badges outside Croke Park in 1982. Went looking for one after the match, as a collector's item, but couldn't find any.
