Jockey said it went lame and tried to pull it up,I didn't see any evidence of Lee trying to pull the horse up,if anything the horse was pulling his arms out,go figure.

Maybe Punchestown, i was concentrating on the sunglasses on K O,R,s ceann instead of his face when he was saying it, agree no evidence of him trying to pull up on replay just looking again at it, His Curragh sept run last year looked to be giving him an easy one as well.

Why would Billy Lee not try.its a listed race worth 26 grand to the winner. Cape Of Approval is a gelding rated 105,he will still be rated 105 after this race.
There was no monster drift so not for laying purposes.
The horse was injured not fatally but obviously injured.

Been watching racing a long time and I'd bet my kids lives that he made no effort whatsoever to pull that horse up until after the finishing line whatever about getting his arms pulled out of their sockets for the duration of the race,we would collectively swallow an anchor.
