Any word on Daring Carlotta ?
If its negative I would fancy Oscarswan, she is some consistent mare with form around Clonmel on that ground. |

sorry Wildman..the guy I had @supreme no longer has anything to do with them....says he was fed up having to go to Ireland to see his runners..

Did look long and hard at Time to Please Tony and thought the 11/4 was very fair,, travelled and jumped well enough(bar 2nd last) at Killarney, made to look slightly better by leader going 3 out.Left him though as Chill has some good previous hurdle form and at his rating in them is very dangerous.
Impressed with Cordellia Belles last 2 runs though up 9lb for last time still be surprised if she isn,t at least placed. Odds against for that for the place is good enough for me with a smaller bet on the win at 5/1ish. GL. |

Hope you had a good night there Tony, nice winner yourself fair dues to you, think PP have priced Pirita (2.15 Nav) a bit out tomorrow. Know shes a 3yo taking on a lot more experienced ones and could well get exposed but at 4/1 think shes worth chancing at that price if you are able to get it.

haha hope you aren,t cursing me tomorrow Tony, manner of its DR maiden was fairly good, may not have beaten a lot but she did it fairly well, got close to Wonderfully on debut who has run with credit in G1,s, that formline looks very good, still she is taking on her elders but really think their(PP) odds are a bit out.

it is funny pa lap, just went through all the cards, made faheys in the first at York and pirita my 2 lays...don't like inexperienced types in such races.
2 to note, the weld 2nd string in the last at navan, likely betfair sp tomorrow of 50/1, I expect it will be an odds on shot to win a maiden at ballybrit. mr byrnes must be licking his lips travelling to hexham...how the handicapper in the uk can give an easy maiden hurdle winner a uk platers mark of 94 is baffling. that 94 is roughly 86 in Ireland. it is obvious he was at best "learning his trade" in his 4 tours over fences in Ireland, I suspect the irish handicapper would have rated him a minimum of 100(uk 108-110). not for you, if fully tuned up could make a mockery of its mark. I am certain it is a point and shoot job off a uk 94 over fences....one big word of caution....a number of years ago, byrnes brought mask of darkness over for a poor maiden hurdle...drifted on the day finished a bad 5th....a few runs later punted heavily he landed a decent maiden at leopardstown.......some bookies still remember that sunday afternoon!!. |

Hi Pa, I have big worry about Pirita`s attitude when push comes to shove....... the hill at Navan could easily find her out. I know it`s only her third start but I can see her drift tomorrow. I do give a chance to one horse in it just waiting until I get the official going.

Hello KL,,it would be a worry her lack of experience, still on what she did on debut to me reads well enough, while the DR run seemed an odd place to go maybe, the 2nd that day Body Beautiful ran well in G3 til final furlong next time and 3rd that day Atlantic Sea has run well enough in maiden with running Guerre close probably best of them. She is an 330k filly, know that mightn,t count for much. Trying to find a danger in the race i,m not sure where to look,G Lyons seems to target the race, his one and Lynams don,t look well handicapped. Shipyard,Six of Hearts,In Salutem and Windinhersleeves seem only to be contesting very average handicaps, really finding it hard to sort one against her. Change in ground could well improve one but seems to suit Welds well.
Didn,t want to hear you were thinking of laying her but the against view is appreciated, really think 4/1 was too big and you should be able to lay her for less near race time. |

Hello Easygold, can see why you said that as she stuck her head up 1fur out when asked to go through gap last time, hope that was just a bit of inexperience as she seemed okay after getting through.

Commiserations WR.
Watched the race there. Brought quite wide around but seemed to travelling well before a mistake. The market would suggest today was not the day however. Someone was laying Robins Command (fav) also right before the start, he only went down by a half length. |
