While watching the 4.45 race from near the parade ring before heading home ..You couldn't help but hear a lone voice of someone attached to the winner Dragon Fei , it started to get louder and louder as the horse approached the final couple of furlongs , building to a crescendo as the horse neared the line ..Delight that knew no bounds appeared , and the sheer thrill of having a winner was evident by the whooping and dancing this lad did as his winner went by the line , pure unadulterated joy was etched on his face , as he ran shouting through the parade ring ....A wonderful sight indeed , yet no everyone evidently enjoyed this outbreak of joyfulness , in fact one trainer was turned off by it to the extent that he lifted his eyes to heaven in horror ..Not one of the big guys either , shall we say one who has made a name for himself in the last couple of years , ( you know who you are )..Shame on you , pure snobbery , I would hate to have a horse with you , there would be little enjoyment to be had ....Hopefully the lad has regained his composure , and is still enjoying the thrill of having a winner  ...

wellsaid wr..I have had that pleasure ..twice..and both times I made a holy show of myself br screaming the horse in..seeing as im paying the bills..i would take umbrage at any trainer who turned his nose up at me..and I would find another sharpi**** hard to control your feeling when you love the game like we do..and to have a winner....there's no feeling like it..especially when you have had a punt....I respect guys who can keep calm...but im honest to say ..I carnt...but its only for a minute.....

I don't think its snobbery, its an Irish thing to go buck lepping whooping and hollering.

John Mortimer famously wrote about Cheltenham in 1974 and his dismay at the antics of Captain Christy backers who celebrated wildly but what annoyed him was as he put it
" after about the fortieth verse of when Irish eyes are smiling I got an uncontrollable urge to poke out some of those aforementioned Irish eyes "

If he has blonde hair, I'd be nearly certain who you are talking about BP. He is having some year as well and I'd say he'd have that kind of move in him. Wouldn't be mad about Galway. Very good trainer and a straight talker though, I like him. Will win a Classic.

Some fellas want the whole thing for themselves and their pals, but I'd balance it with the fact that you have top trainers like O'Brien and Oxx who are absolute gentlemen. That's often the way, the lads at the top are sound; they don't need to front because they have nothing to prove.

I was at the Curragh on Sunday and I'd hazard a guess at a guy born with a silver spoon in his gob overtanned and chain smoking. Look a proper Pr1ck to me even if I'm wrong

Most likely the man doesn't exist.....if he did the wonkatonk would have told us ages ago.....he tells everybody on sundry most details of his private life.....so this little nugget aint going to be hidden surely.....who cares anyway.....everybody knows the flat scene is full of pretentious prixx.....there are loads of them....it would be a lot more difficult to find one that isn't a cockk......

sort of a creeping j*sus character...forever hanging out on the periphery of the 'big names' and then reporting back on here...whether its Johnny Murtagh eating chips, standing beside some connections or other when they won, button holing poor Willie Mullins, flashing Mick Halford's telephone number...or in this case reporting back on some trainers perceived facial gesture.

Most unsavoury.  You can take the man from Tallaght but you can't take Tallaght from the man.

I personally have nothing against Tallaght.....only aware of 3 people who live there.....3 top characters with huge reputations in their own fields......a world famous greyhound bookie.....a world famous horse racing paddock expert.....and a world famous Iranian who runs a restaurant there.....
