After the first contest was scrapped and declared null and void after Tony57 blunder, i have taken the liberty of making a second thread in case the lads want to go again.

Can we officially ban Scouse 'Give it Large' Tony from proceedings this time around?
By:
Rocketfingers
When: 02 May 14 21:03
Done although i would like to see him issue an apology especially to Pa
By:

Agreed.  Pa is the real victim here.

I felt in my bones that The Rat would have got with Temple Grandin because when I looked he was up at 20/1 which is The Rat's signature flourish bet.

This is a joke right ?

Well you never know but not to allow him the chance to make the pick is just plain wrong.
By:

When: 02 May 14 21:11
Why did he not have the choice, Did he not keep track of how many picks he had left ?

Read the thread..Scouse Tony blundered.

We had all officially congratulated Pa when Tony realised his error....The Rat had already let the building at that point.

I was reading the thread as it happened,
If Rat has a selection left he shouldv'e known irrespective of what anyone else said and made his selection, Correct ?

Scouse Tony was so busy dancing on the Rats grave that he made a bumbling error.  We all fell for it to be fair, I had officially congratulated Pa.  The irony was that if a horse had won the last race at less than 16/1 we could have let the result stand.

The lack of a scoreboard in running for the final evening, was, in retrospect, a huge mistake, one which we will rectify this time around.

Just for the record, as an officially appointed Ref, I would like to apologise to The Rat for not having stepped in and informed him that Scouse Tony had made a mistake.

^ by not doing so, I deprived him of a real and genuine chance (1 in 3) to win the contest.

I have absolutely no intention of entering another comp with the likes of yourself Ozy and particulary Rocketfingers,it will be a cold day in hell.

Scores from the comp;
Pa Lapsy  7 sel(for week) + 11.8
Kingrat   6 sel    ,,     -  1.5

If he(Ratfingers) wants to put a pick up tomorrow from his choice of THE DAYS RACING, he can, on the original thread.

I can fully understand your frustration, Pa.

It would be unfair to ask the Rat to pick a selection tomorrow..when we all know he had a 1 in 3 chance in the last race....he won't have that chance to find the required odds winner tomorrow.

I was only one of 4 Offician Officials.   Kelly had turned in early, Borneo is working nights this week. The Rock and I both took our eyes off the ball, I have officially apologised.

Perhaps you would stand as Ref this time around?

Anyway, I am off to the Pub...Johnny Cochrane's light has just come on.  I will leave my co-counsel to deal with the inevitable appeal.

I think you will find 'Offician' has a proud place in the Betfair lexicon, gutfeeling.

I am off, I can hear Cochrane shuffling his papers.  Let down his client by not being here for the grand finale imo.

How bad WR,tricky Punchestown overall, delighted Jezki won in the end,you get the impression at the moment Willie is being so to speak a little FLY and kind of his just deserts to me for others to get a few big results.

PA , a friend put forward a very good reason why he thought Jessie was having such a great Punchestown , they were hoping John would have lasted till the festival , and had them peak just for it...sounds reasonable to me .Have to say Paddy did us proud today , the best of everything , food and drink wise...

Heard a story tonight associated with death and what will probably be a legend of a horse,it was humbling.
Mr Weld can do no wrong either after the very recent death of his Mam(RIP). Nice also Colm Murray is remembered in a race to his name.
