The National tomorrow is the highlight of the card , and the 3 I'm taking against are as follows ...... Rogue Angel...Mouse will have him primed as always on the day , ran a cracker at Cheltenham and with such a low weight must be there or thereabouts .... Alfie Sherrin 7lb lower than when third in 2012 and JonJo never runs them in big ones unless they are up to it.. Los Amigos I thought this fellow would romp home at Naas recently , he looked as if he was cantering all over them with 3 to jump that day , seemed to get done for a turn of foot ..So I'm hoping the step up in trip will suit this youngster .... Good luck all.....
Can't be having that old chestnut anymore NGU , surely in this day of free trade , people should be allowed have a bet on what they want ..Its out of date imo and should be brought up to date...

Tayto Park in the bumper , saw this fellow run in a p2p recently , he led most of the way till running out of gas between the last 2 , he showed a lot of speed that day , so the drop in trip just might be in his favor ..He ran out in a point as well , so may have issues ..Worth a little e/w imo...

Such an open race, liked Gallant Oscars last run but so did the handicapper with a 13lb rise, one i thought could run well and no way think is a 50/1 chance is Letter Of Credit(exch 80's). Giving Touch of Eden is among the fancied ones,Letter of Credit is 4lb better off for 2L on their last meeting,Folsam Blue picked up well in 3rd that day also and is 6lb better for just 3L. Will have a small ew interest on the last two named, its a tough one.GL

Los Amigoes n/r , so will add instead , Letter Of Credit a bit of a Thurles specialist , but the way this fellow travels he just might get the trip , and has a finishing kick to boot...

The Gotchee I thought it was nearly good there yesterday , though i seldom take notice of times tbh , very little divots been kicked up , and a friend of mine thought with the wind that was there yesterday they might have needed to water for today , no need for that though after the showers yesterday...

He's a bit of a flashy looker Pa , but he jumped and lead for most of the way that day , so who knows , and Tony has been known to have the odd winner ...

Pendra (5.00) 28/1 in the National. Despite a poor round of jumping he did well to finish 3rd at Cheltenmham. This is a good race for novices and I think there is more improvement in him. Avondhu Lady (5.35) 10/1. If this one was trained by Willie Mullins it would be favourite. However,Willie does train the fav, Tarla (5/2), whom Avondhu Lady beat fairly and squarely by 10 lengths at Naas. Great value in Avondhu lady. Becauseicouldntsee (6.05) 33/1. Has proved to be somewhat unreliable but showed a bit of spark last time out. A reproduction of that run should see him go close.

Also interested in Ivan de Grozny in the first. I didn't buy into the hype in him after his maiden win, but that has subsided, and I believe he is quite a bit better than his finishing position at Chelt. Looked the likely winner jumping two out. Maybe a bit of interference and slight buffeting cause him to throw in the towel, because he certainly looked like he had more to give. At the prices, I would be prepared to take the chance he fancies the fight today.
Think Avondhu Lady is very overpriced myself. Also interested in Ivan de Grozny in the first. I didn't buy into the hype in him after his maiden win, but that has subsided, and I believe he is quite a bit better than his finishing position at Chelt.
Shame Tammy's is out of the big one today as was quite keen to see him outside of Hunter Chase company. Anyway on we go, Low stakes today after yesterdays shambles. 2.45 Gerdago ew 12/1 5.00 The Westerner Boy / Mullaghanoe River e/w the pair. 5.35 Une Artiste 7/2
Over at Yarmouth Lawyer in the 3.00 is the bet of the day for me at 9/4. Best of luck today everyone.

My Murphy has a nice racing weight given some of the races he has contested this winter. He could improve for the bit better ground being by Presenting and will do for me.

Really like the look of folsom blue in the national today, have u given up on him WR?? All this fella does is stay and i'd say this has been the plan all season.

Prepared to forgive Home Farms poor run the last day. Was obviously something amiss to miss his original target at Aintree, but that was a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully Moore has ironed out whatever niggle it was. He is not one to run animals for the sake of it. He has every chance on last years run in the race, and his run in the PP at Christmas screamed National. Still well handicapped he looks sure to be thereabouts.
Also went with Mullaghoe River. Prone to the odd race ending blunder, he will need PC to be at his mercurial best to guide him around this 3m5f. But if he can get him into a rhythm early, I can see him coming there with every chance with 3 to jump. 25s seems fair.

2 Nice winners Callit,an early payout from PP on Ronnie is very possible. The 5/2 after the masters was massive, there was a time when backing Ronnie ante-post was akin to backing ante-post racing but that does not apply any more
Some beauties from RTE again today.
Robert Hall: "JP and the taoiseach, two of the shrewdest men you would find".
Tracy to Jonjo: "Where does he go now"-A long rest, what else is even possible?
Good old Ruby finished off in style though giving us one from left field for Punchestown.
