A cheque for over 11 grand was handed over to the injured jockeys fund today as a result of a hundred euro charity bet.

Barry Geraghty was at a preview night that seemingly none of us were either at or heard about,he nominated his 100 pound charity bet as a double Jezki and More Of It.

Some tipping.

Barry Geraghty wins €10k for Irish Injured Jockeys on €100 E/W **** Charity Bet
Posted on March 13, 2014 by Carey-Ann
Last Thursday evening, at a Cheltenham Preview night in aid of Irish Injured Jockeys, Barry Geraghty used a €200 charity bet courtesy of ****. Geraghty had a €100 e/w double on Jezki 8/1 in the Champion Hurdle and More of That 10/1 a bet that has just clicked and made a whopping €10k for our injured jockeys!!

Carey-Ann Lordan, PR & Marketing Manager of Irish Injured Jockeys commented “This is the result of the festival, last year was a tough one! Irish Injured Jockeys has focused on raising funds for the Jockeys Emergency Fund to support Jonjo and JT after their falls last March. I would like to sincerely thank Alan Reilly and all the team at **** for their generosity and support without which we would not have had a Preview Night or a Charity Bet in the first place, it has been our pleasure to have worked with you on the event. As for Barry Geraghty what can I say, thank you so much, well done and we are simply blown away here….thanks for pulling it out of the bag for Irish Injured Jockeys!

I wasn't accusing him of after timing, just never read it here.

You have to hand it to him, fair going

You would expect that from the likes of Pa Lapsy or Keen Leader but.

That's fierce expectation to be putting on Old Pa's shoulders.  Especially when the nerves are at him

Geraghty put up two big priced winners, that puts him in the Pa Lapsy Keen Leader territory, these two posters have been the consistent winner finders here.

Do you subscribe to the Goebbels school of PR wherby if you repeat the lie often enough people will start to believe it?

Now is not the time to be heaping more pressure on poor Old Pa.

When Lee Trevino won the British Open he was asked about pressure,he said " that's not pressure, pressure is when you are playing someone for ten bucks, you are dormie four and you have two dimes in your pocket "

Pa Laosy well able for pressure, what you don't get is he just doesn't like you or the well named Kingrat.

or as your friend Neil Francis said 'pressure is for tyres and bra straps'.

Either way, Pa can't seem to handle it.  Two words from Kinger had him off the bridle and disapperaring into the sunset Wink

No big deal Ozy, Its the racing that matters and how your own personal account is doing,it is the constant harresssment of the racing people on the forum is what is wrong. There would be slaps flying in a bookies if the carry on that is on here was repeated. You are wrong and all you are doing Ozy is bringing bad feeling into the place, you are totally against the ethos of the forum in that way.

Very easy and expected answer, just a dose of your own with your 8/13 shot, done so ye could have a little boomfest between ye, doing it all week yourself ozy and for more than a year on top of that.

All Pa Lapsy is guilty of is contributing post after post of quality.

I both value and appreciate them and deplore your attempts at double teaming him.

Rocketfingers is in there too cowardly snapping at his heels.

What do u men easy and expected answer?...It's the simple truth.

You are guilty of exactly the same behaviour you lay at my door.

It was't me havig a laugh with Norn btw, it was Kinger...and Norn took it in good spirits, never lashed back, and certainly didn't slouch off like a defeated man.

You on the other hand are a legitimate target Pa Wink

Is it that you just want the monopoly of sneering at a loser, unlucky,as said a dose of your own,you have been giving it all week and for the last year or so on top of that to decent people, keep going who will want to post.

Horsesh1t.....plenty of losing bets by decent people on here that are never mentioned.

And again I tell you, if you can't take it, don't dish it out.  You are the ultimate hypocrite.

I'm getting worried . Last week i posted on here that my cousin happened to captain Ireland at one time , I also posted that i was going for a game of golf ..Then up pops Foggy who discloses that he was capped for Leinster , and having never even mentioned golf before on any thread , he then informs Richters he has no time to debate , as he has a tee time booked ...Shocked....I'm going to Ballybofey this evening , Jacksons hotel for the weekend , just in case you want to add that to your portfolio....Laugh
