Festive Felon 4.00 Navan
The beating of Don Poli in his maiden hurdle has been franked in no uncertain terms however it is his last run i,d be more interested where not counting the claim on Thunder and Roses is 9lb better for 2L.Still a mistake by Thunder at the last and also going away from Festive would much rather have me ew on the Giggy horse at 11/2 than 5/2 on Festive.
So against the "form" horse.

Sir Ector 2.55 Navan
This ones flat form last season was very good, winning a couple of premier handicaps and running well in listed company. Really ought to be head and shoulders above these but lack of a recent run is obviously the question.
A tentative for him but going to rely on the betting near the off.

Domination 4.15 Limerick
On ratings alone ought to outclass these, decent over flat and hurdles still first time over a fence and his trainer wouldn,t have me rushing in for the 8/11. Chestnut Charlie looks sure to run well and barring an accident shouldn,t be out the places,do ew for me.
So again against the form horse.

Very unusual to see Gigginstown buying a British point winner.

Already had 2 runs in english points as a 4yr old... (2013)
the 1st one, it was matching strides with  eventual winner, the 5yr old URBAN HYMN until coming down 4 out.....these 2 were clear of the rest,
URBAN HYMN won its bumper easy & ran well at chelt last week, now rated a 142 horse.

VIRTUOSO ROUGE bolted up on its 2nd run, from another decent one, again, both well clear of the rest.

sold for   90,000 to  Mags O'Toole. Noel Meade  trains Virtuoso Rouge for Gigginstown ...
If it is fit, no reason why it wont be, then it could bolt up in this....
Either way, a one to watch out for imo

I think he might be setting up his own Tipping Line, Huddys.

Borneo has been buttering him up for years and I think the praise has gone to his head.  Borneo, look out for a PM from Old Pa looking for a testimonial quote for Pa's new website.

Failing that, we will have to ask Ratser to apologise for teasing and hope that Pa returns.

Huddy,s obvious he didn,t read the post and wrongly got his dig in,being honest I don,t need/want it, sad to see the Irish forum without a daily racing thread.

Pa , don't let these clowns get to you , it seems all they want to do is run the forum into the ground , pay no heed , you are worth a 100 Foggys and Compos , leave them to it mate , your opinion is valued by the people who matter....

Pa Lapsy is one of the few here who could have a successful tipping line.

He did well again at Cheltenham, not as good as The Gotchees 41 odd point profit, but profit nonetheless.

This thread is typical of the problem with Ozymandius and Kingrat,it starts up with Pa Lapsy making some well thought out points on three horses.
He states he is against Festive Felon then gives salient reasons for backing Thunder And Roses, his analysis yields a nice 5/1 winner.

His next is a piece on Sir Ector where he reasonably advises caution,he likes Sir Ector but is worried about lack of a run so states watch the market,he is a massive drifter so the no bet advice is correct.

His last venture is on the Beginners Chase in Limerick,he is against Domination.
It must be call the guards time as he is wrong.

I make him four points up on the day.

Kingrat has a low attention span so naturally misread the piece on Sir Ector, jumped in with his juvenile response.

The forum knows who showed themselves up on this thread,it certainly wasn't Pa Lapsy.

Is Pa ok and will he be back?

These were the two innane comments from Ratser that drove him over the edge:

1. ^^^mug punter!

2. take it slow old pa

Pa's own replies were in fact much more vicious and used what Borneo would usually leap on and describe as crude language.  Ratser just took them on the chin.

The reason Raster gets such value out of Pa is because he is so easy to rise. He needs to chill and just turn the other cheek.

Ozymandius has long been championing Kingrat and other equally poor tipsters,he obviously has a blind spot with Pa Lapsy he never acknowledges his consistent flow if winners, fails to notice the profit on this thread.

Its the lack of booms that's doing it.

Wildmanfromborneo , sadly Foggys only interest in this forum is , attention seeking , he has constantly belittled good punters who know their stuff , simply by moving on from the subject when someone on here is successful ..He is a clever lad who likes to move the goalposts to suit himself , a sad individual really ...Never off here , I'd say unable to get about , and needs the adrenaline he gets here to sustain him ..Locked into his own little world where everything must be as he sees it ....I sometimes find myself feeling sorry for the old guy....

Look, Pa is a great contributor and gets the odd winner.

He is probably better than most but still not a forumite I would personally follow in with any regularity, if at all.
But then you can name those on one hand.
By:
wildmanfromborneo
When: 16 Mar 14 23:59
He doesn't get the odd winner he gets winner after winner and only trails Keen Leader here.

He has been doing this for a couple of years now and its remarkable,The Gotchee has been in a rich vein of form lately.

Its the lack of booms that's definitely doing it.

Ozymandius

I don't agree, Borneo.  He puts up plenty of horse and my sense is his selections on here don't show a profit. (and please don't quote that Grand National winner from whatever year it was)

But anyway, we have had this precise discussion before.  The answer is, as before, very simple.  Let you, or Pa, monitor his profit by selection on here over a period of time, say a month.

And then lets see if we can annoint him or not?

He has always refused these challenges in the past and will do so again.  If he is as good as you think he is it should be straightforward for him to put this to bed and be henceforth known as The Man!

Boom!

That won,t happen, you are on record of culling the "non profit making tipsters" on here and making the place "leaner and meaner" fook ya. Only ever had a love of racing and sometimes hard not to discuss it without giving an opinion on a horse which is all i ever done, some winners, some loser,s doesn,t matter at the end of the day. Another nasty jibe earlier by suggesting a tipping line whether in jest or not how dare you say it as it could never be further from the truth as sole aim here was my interest in racing.
Good post by Koikeeper earlier in the thread and is what it meant to be about rather than some knacker who couldn,t get his facts right giving abuse.
Someone without naming a name got it so right when he said it would gaul him to see someone profit by putting a selection up by some on here, beginning to think how right he is unforunately, that is the way it is going with yourself and your "buddies".

You need to relax Pa and not let Ratser get to you.  All he is doing is yanking your chain.
By:
wildmanfromborneo
When: 17 Mar 14 00:29
I can understand his reluctance, its time consuming,ye are really only jeers but most importantly he has been on some run and doesn't want to break it.

I suppose I could go back through his selections and show you his huge profit but because he is modest and doesn't blow his own trumpet you think they are not there so doubt if you would believe me.
By:

Why are you sticking up for the knacker so much? Impartial me hole
By:
Ozymandius
When: 17 Mar 14 00:33
Not time consuming in the least  I fact I will happily volunteer to keep score.

Even though you keep blowing smoke up his ass, which flatters him to a extent, he, himself knows the score, which is why he always bottles the challenge.

But so what?  He is still a good contributor.  That's the main thing at the end of the day.

By:

I know the the score myself,in fairness the Wildman has a good idea and is being straight out, that is all, why are you sticking up for the knacker?
