Was a very quiet shop tho tbf, was nt doin a tap. Few pubs down around it closed and had they only had the odd bit of traffic from the pub next door on d weekends. Would rarely be more than 2/3 in there
Powers and Spoils much nicer shops and at the opposite side of town closer to the parkin so were doin all the business |

There were a few closed in Limerick City near the train station a couple of weeks ago, one on Parnell St and the other on that street just off it (The one with the taxi rank and the mural or what I'd guess is Peter Stringer or Keith Earls).
It looks a bit reminiscent of william Hill, well in Limerick. Only really decent location they have is the one in William St. |

Wont be the last from what I have seen evolving over last few years . Reckon the FOBTS are keeping some of their shops up North more or less afloat . Fact is there is no market to sell on any bookies shop these days , those days are gone . The shrewder bookies saw the light and baled out when the going was not too bad .
And when the shops have no independence in relation to any form of decent punter the future is not good . That applies across the board , not just Ladcrooks . |

They realise that FOBTS not a reality now so would think any unprofitable shops (which there must be many) will close.
