Three E/W shots I like tomorrow are;
Shellys Creek in the handicap chase. Francis Flood's yard has been in the doldrums for months but has been coming into a bit of decent form lately. Last time out Shellys Creek was brought down early in a race won by her lesser fancied stable mate. I expect a decent run today. Kayf Hampshire won nicely first time out at Limerick. The runner up ran very well next time out in a very good mares maiden hurdle. Liam Burke wouldn't be travelling all the way to F/house if he didn't think he could pick up the prize. Crawford's mare is the main danger. Competitive Edge should win the Rated Chase but Conor O'Dwyer is not half as good a trainer as he was a jockey, so that puts me off. If the exertions of the Thyestes haven't taken its toll then I expect Playing, who will relish the ground, to put it up to him. The rest of the runners don't appeal. |

Suntiep looks a cracking bet at 9-4, and would agree that it will likely go off favourite.
Hoping Ffos Las goes ahead. I think Smoking Aces is the bet of the day at 8-1 in the 2.40. Third run in Britain tomorrow, should yield his first win. Didn't jump a fence when second the last day, and wasn't much better the time before. As it stands AP is not at this meeting, and Richie Mac rides. Obviously on the face of it, that would appear a disadvantage, but McLernon could be just the man to get this quirky customer jumping and interested. If he gets him around without serious error, he will be hard to beat. |

the gotchee......typical punters nonsense talk .....liam burke wouldn't be travelling to fairyhouse if he didn't think he could pick up the prize.....what a load of tosh.....liam burke has a mare that is a winner and its a mares winners bumper.....her options are limited....so its either keep her to her own sex....or run her against geldings.....he obviously has no choice but to run her today.....and if the race was on in Stockholm.....she'd be running.......and she wont win either.....
and to think this ape ran Stamford bridge off here...... |

Just have a look at the Irish forum , see poor old Paulie making a fool of himself on a daily basis. At least you are consistent, Paulie/ robbo/ dj 876. ![]() |

12.55f, Man with Van, I wonder is it significant that Crawford is willing to take on the fav who beat his Mr Nibbles last time?. The Crawford horses have been in good form all year both sides of the Irish Sea.
The Pounds done me a good turn last time but steps up in trip here. 1.25f, Taking Indian Icon to confirm form with Hallings in a poor enough contest. 1.55f, If O'Maonlai's 3rd to the Tullow Tank and Turnango can be taken at face value must give it a great chance here?. 3.05f, Not a big fan of Suntiep I think he has surprised connections thus far?, have my doubts about the trip for the fav Si, if I thought that Dushrembrandt was out to do himself justice on his first run over fences after a long absence I think he would be a huge ew shout with the bare 8 runners, but thats a big if?. 3.40f, I was really taken by Hold Em Cowboy last time, he's up 10Lb but it looks significant that Walsh takes the ride suggests Elliot thinks he can defy the rise?. 4.15f, I'm not a huge bumper fan but Twentytwo's Taken was pretty impressive last time for the in form Crawford, and he will do for me in what is a competitive enogh bumper. I fancy Whisper strongly to turn the tables on Saphir in the Welsh Champion Hurdle with the huge weight pull. Football Acca, Blackburn, Wigan, Bristol City, MK Dons. good luck!. |

The trick is Dec, to add the other 25 runners to the notebook aswell, guarantees the winners. Apparently its the way to go. You can win millions combining them, and only have to invest 10 pence. Obviously its also very easy to pick the right ones out at the right time, from the 736452896873474 that you have notebooked.

CRACKING RIDE FROM CRAWFORD THER NEVER PANICKED ON THIW P2P WHO WILL MAKE NICE CHASER

I have been laying Indian Icon ever since he finished 2nd in a 4 runner flat handicap at the Galway festival. Having backed him that morning on good advice, I wasn't impressed with his physical appearance, or attitude in the race itself. A small scopeless yoke, who I very much doubt wants hock deep ground, I would expect him to keep finding a few too good, and become rather regressive.
|
|
By:
Tony, the extra 4 furlongs today added to the ground did the trick imo.

By:
11 yrs ago today KEEN LEADER won the grade 2 @wetherby.
|
|
By:
laying suntiep here , when he won at navan it was a bog , so conditions will suit , not sure he'll enjoy going right handed either , Hughes horse has the form in the book , while disappointing on a few occasions , his class may carry him through ....
|
|
By:
Norn, they don't call off Punchestown anymore, irrespective of how bad the ground. There was a time when they used to preserve the course for the Festival if there was bad ground at this time of year but not any more.
(wait for it to be called off ) |

Hard luck WR, dont want to tell you your business but if laying you should really have more than one credible opponent running for you, to avoid such scenarios like just what happened..
